I feel like cobblemon will stay behind Pixelmon for a good while unless it adds the quality of life changes and mechanics that pixelmon has. However the updates seem to have a decent frequencies but both seem a bit sluggish from what I've got.

I also think that cobblemon is a bit more casual on its gameplay while Pixelmon is a bit more vast and more competitive

I feel like if Cobblemon is allowed the same timeframe that Pixelmon has had, Cobblemon will be way more popular than Pixelmon - only because, a lot of the updates Pixelmon's done lately... Don't seem to be great.
Nostalgia mode.. Sprite mode... Literally shows they're scared of Cobblemon.
And then there's the various things they have had someone showcase in an update video, half of which is not working or even implemented properly.
I love both games, but, I feel like eventually Pixelmon will be overrun by Cobblemon.
I know Cobblemon is going 1.20 - and there's already rumors that Pixelmon's debating on going 1.20 as well, even though they've only just gone 1.16.5 maybe a year ago?

@@AFantaLover cobblemon 1.4 is adding some new things. they are working on it decently fast ngl.
Its still in its prime fs.
