The character development was strong in this comic, it gave Nolan and the Viltrumites a renewed sense and a higher level of self worth. That their strength and barbaric ways were more of a hinder to their last evolution, they had to evolve their hearts. Mark, Debbie and all in Nolan's life were in fact what awoke his bloodline's power of Leadership, and the ultimate level passed to the rest. Mark took on the role of Nolan and merged it well to his, to be The Invincible Omni Man. Nolan would had been proud.
Not too sure about that tbh. The author massacred Thragg's personality near the end of this series just to give Mark another punching bag. The guy went from being a pragmatic leader who was willing to do anything necessary for survival of his race to...... whatever the hell THIS is. Similarly Mark's character arc was inconsistent as hell to say the least. It wasn't as bad as Thragg but it still had some problems.

The fact that allen was portrayed as being so strong, enough to beat omni man down with the ease thragg did, and he wasnt the one to fight thragg is the most insane part about this glorious series.
