"Is This Love" is a song by British rock band Whitesnake. It was released in 1987 as the second single from their self-titled album.
The power ballad was written by vocalist David Coverdale and guitarist John Sykes during the album's early writing process (which took place in the south of France), but it was long rumoured that the song had originally been written for Tina Turner. Coverdale confirmed these rumours in the booklet of Whitesnake's 20th anniversary edition, by saying:
Before I'd left [for the south of France] a friend at EMI had asked me for any ideas that would work for Tina Turner. So that was where the original idea for "Is This Love" came from.

As much as I love listening to Daria. Sometimes I just find myself getting caught up in Sergey's playing. It's just so clean. Never a missed note or a flat note. Every single note or chord is always perfect within the context of the song he plays. And he is always so focused on his playing. Perfection, as performed by the Master of Strings

As a die-hard Whitesnake fan who lived through the release of the ‘87 album, I can honestly say this is the best cover of Is This Love that I’ve seen. The arrangement is killer - John Sykes would be proud- and the vocals as genuine as anything I’ve ever heard. Bravo for doing a great song so… well, great!

if @NOAPOLOGY sees this.. STAY INDEPENDENT. music contracts are not worth it in the end. it would end up taking everything that makes them what they are while also owning all of their brands, merch, etc. violet orlandi has a long testimonial on this issue which IMO is just the tip of the iceberg.
