    2:34 hell ya you should have changed the oil. the manual says for a new mower, change the oil after the first 5 hours of use. then change it annually after that. or if you do a lot of mowing, change it after every 50 hours of use.

    It won't clog up as much if you can keep the grass from getting so tall.

    Don’t mow the grass sooo loww go on the highest setting first then go a little bit lower and then the lowest or however you prefer your lawn that’s all I would expect it to work I’m just starting my lawnmower business in the summer and I bought this lawnmower

    Great review. I own one and lost the bag. My landscaper said I should not let those clippings on the grass cause it will burn the grass so I am thinking about buying a new one with a bag on it because I can't find a replacement bag.

      This looks like it would fit, double check, but it would save you from getting an all new mower:

      @@burrheadjr thanks! After reading the comments I’m going to stick with the version I have and let the clippings fall where they may 🤣

    I have a Troy Bilt TB110 Mower that I got back in June of 2016. Still works great to this day. After mowing season, I run the mower completely out of gas and keep it in the garage. I've only changed the oil and spark plug once. It's going on it's 8th year still cranking in one to two pulls.

    I agree that you should not cut so low.. you can raise the cutting deck a little bit higher and you shouldn't have that problem as much..

    Got this one on sale, I have a pretty flat lawn, regular suburban neighbourhood, and my grass isn't exactly luscious. Had it for about 4 seasons now, and it' works for me, and I agree with all the +'s mentioned in the video. I COMPLETELY agree about it being pretty awful when the ground is even slightly wet; it clogs so easily. I've had it stop up with small to medium thickness twigs/sticks. This wasn't a huge issues to me, I just moved or removed the stick, and carried on with it's "one pull" start up. I live in pretty "perfect" conditions for this mower and its only slightly annoying here in MD. Like the video said, anywhere with more rain, or thiicccc grass, or you're short on time frame windows, I'd probably look elsewhere.

    All 3 in 1 mowers will do this when you have a smaller opening than is needed for efficient side discharge. The answer would be to cut the discharge hole bigger and then add some metal flashing of some sort to the spring loaded cover. There's no incentive for China to make great mowers when all the choices are their mowers.

    Would SAE 30 work for this mower? Thanks

    • @burrheadjr
      @burrheadjr  ปีที่แล้ว

      It should be, as long as you don't try mowing in freezing temperatures. The Briggs and Stratton oil that is sometimes included with new mowers is SAE 30 oil.

    It says craftsman but it’s all MTD man

    • @rajaz4054

      That;s true. I see negative reviews on Craftsman lawn mowers quite often now. They make comments like "Craftsman used to make high quality products, but not anymore". Or they say "Craftsman just isn't what it used to be". But one thing those reviewers are neglecting to mention is, Craftsman was a Sears product. Before Sears closed, they sold the Craftsman name to MTD. Things have been downhill ever since. One reviewer referred to it as a "CRAPSMAN" lawn mower.

    Does it have a mulching blade on it ? You may can get better results using a conventional blade (older type) or even a blade specific to bagging only .

    Does it take regular gasoline. Or an oil gas mix? Cant find any info on that

    • @burrheadjr
      @burrheadjr  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      regular gas only. The oil is completely separate, you don't need to do any mixing.

    Try to cut it low like on 2 and cut it every two weeks so don't make it grow so much because the more you mow the more ut grows.

    Had the mower for 2 & half years now. It is JUNK. When it starts it is great but when it sits for a week or two, it will not start. I know it is the card float and gone are the days of the little push to prime with gas. I think that would fix the start issues. For now I keep spraying Starter Fluid into the carb until it will run by itself.

    These things are junk, used mine twice and hit a small stick the 2nd time and locked it up. Bought it at Lowes and it only had a 30 day warranty and since I was slightly over 30 days I just lost $300 and have a piece of junk that doesn't work. I bought a Honda mower this time and will never buy craftsman again
