I think I would like this more if I hadn't heard Rihanna's version first. Demi's is more a show of vocals. Something about the intentional lack of emotion in Rihanna's voice brings out how hopeless she feels in the situation and made the song more powerful.

The sad part about Demi she has pipes for days but she never got a series of songs that really worked for her. Who ever her team was never got those well written songs with solid melody's that worked for her like beyonce, Ri andothers got. Disney kinda screwed her and her team kinda did the rest. She has such good pipes but so few memorial songs that work with her voice.
