I was so confused when he chose not to delete the level 6 by trashing an additional card. With the ace under the overflow would've given some memory back too at least restricting your last turn a bit more.
Would have left you at 5 memory starting instead of 8. Really would've just depended on if you had the level 6 to evo into at that point. Evo to mirage takes you down to 1, nothing to bounce so security is popped to hand, two memory gain back to 3. Either way, gotta find a way to lessen your hand size when playing up against Mirage.
