I backed on day one because I think they did an awesome job on the HISS..and I did want the tactician as well. The missile racks are fine,I don't even mind the retro pack. On tier 3 I was debating on backing a second, once they revealed the classic CC..I'm good with only one. He can stay on card and I'll wait for the inevitable mass release for this Commander. The original figure, the blow dryer gun plugged directly in his back
I agree that the CC figure will be re-released with a traditional Cobra Logo. It will most likely be part of a new wave of retro carded figures exclusive to Walmart.
I also agree with other people's opinions that they got worried about the reaction to the retro pack and combined tier 3 and 4 to become tier 3 and then needed a little extra time and decided to add carded Mickey Mouse Commander as tier 4. As much as people like tier 4,I don't think it made as big as an impact as they'd hoped up front. It will absolutely unlock everything it's just a matter of total units at this point.
@@mayster_chief It's hard to say at the moment. I'd say the way it's trending,I'd think around 24k but it's still got a considerable amount of time left. There's obviously people that will back in the last day but I don't know that it'll see the huge jump right at the end because of how many jumped in because of that early bird bonus. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

If the Cobra Commander had the regular Cobra logo then I'd open him, but since it is the "Mickey Mouse" variant I will be keeping it in the package and wait for the general release which is coming for sure. I've backed one but thinking about two since the beginning because it's just awesome. got plenty of days to save up for the 2nd HISS.

I don't have any problems with any of the tiers. Compared to some of the ridiculous things that Haslab has tried to push on us in the past, this is probably the best ever deal for the money (so far). I think after the Rancor fiasco with the carboard backdrop, bag of bones, and rocks Hasbro learned they can't just offer us posters, stickers, blueprints, postcards, chewing gum, marshmallow/ slime residue, personal diaries, concept art and call them stretch goals. All said, not that the Cobra Commander is a bad figure, I think He looks great, but I also think this is the weakest stretch goal. I was hoping they would have made all the stretch goals HISS tank related. Sure, CC promoted it, and called us all imbeciles, but more armaments, something to hook on to the trailer hitch, fuzzy dice, blast effects, bumper sticker that says "Proud Parent Of A Cobra Trooper", battle damage stickers, etc. Everything else is great for troop building, but what am I going to do with 5 retro carded Cobra Commanders?
Good points. Most people are in this hobby for the figures and that's what they really promoted for this HasLab. I would have loved to see a "vehicle" to pull behind the HISS Tank in place of CC. In fact, I expected something to pull behind since they highlighted the hitch on the back.

This figure will be released mainline with a normal cobra symbol and slight different shade of blue

Tier 4 needs to come with the hood head. There are too many Classified Cobra Commanders that have the metal plate face.
I agree, but I don't think we will ever get a "hooded" cobra commander from Hasbro. There are some nice ones on the secondary market though.

I prefer the purple tech but I don’t think it matches the tank . The black one looks too snake eyes like. So I will vote for the red/black version

Yes. Also, they usually give people about 30 days after the campaign ends to cancel.
