Bargal is an old coastal town. It is famous for its resistance against the Portuguese in the 16c and the Italians in the 20c. It was the capital of the state of Majertenia from 17c-1927 ( 17:00 the Castle war larger than that and more beautiful. It was destroyed by the Italians in 1927.) thn became the Capital City of Majertenia region after the Italian occupation until the 70s, when the capital was transferred to Bosaso nd Changed the name to The East Region. The city has a fish factory and an old market, and 6 agricultural villages with natural springs, pastures and famous Sand Dom Known as Bunka Guuxa), Cape of Bina, Salt Mines, Pink Lake, and Ancient Graves.. are located on its outskirts.
I think th Lack of tourism nd tour guides from Bargal. made the village seem deserted, with no amazing places. Am asking if Puntland rules the Guardavue AKA Caseyr-land?
Bargaal, Somalia: Centre of the Nautical World The Land of Punt Bargaal, a coastal town in Somalia, is gaining international attention due to its strategic importance in maritime trade and security. The town is part of the historic Land of Punt, a region with ancient ties to trade and exploration. Strategic Agreements and International Presence Since the 2010s, Somalia has been forging crucial trade and development agreements, notably with Turkey. This partnership has seen significant investment and development in Somalia's infrastructure, particularly in its ports and naval capabilities. Turkey's involvement includes a 20-year concession to manage Mogadishu Port, which has been transformative despite some controversies regarding management practices. Turkey's military engagement in Somalia began with a training agreement in 2010 and has expanded significantly. Camp TURKSOM, established in Mogadishu in 2017, serves as a base for training Somali National Army units. This move not only enhances Somalia's military capabilities but also boosts Turkey's strategic influence in the region. In 2024, Somalia and Turkey ratified a 10-year Maritime Security and Economic Development Treaty. This agreement aims to bolster Somalia’s naval forces, enhancing security in vital shipping lanes plagued by piracy and terrorism. The treaty underscores the importance of sustainable environmental stewardship by curbing illegal fishing and protecting marine ecosystems which many Somalis see as the first target of modern Somali piracy. The Geopolitical Landscape Somalia's geographic position with natural ports offers unimpeded routes to major seas and oceans, similar to the strategic locations of South Africa, Spain, and Panama. This has attracted interest from multiple global powers, including the USA, UAE, and Qatar. The USA, aiming to maintain a presence in Somalia, has offered to build and support five military bases in the country. Somalia's exclusive economic zone (EEZ) was historically influenced by British, Egyptian, and French interests to keep the middle of the Red Sea international. This arrangement was crucial for maintaining colonial trade routes. Today, Somalia’s strategy includes maintaining a neutral stance in regional conflicts, aiming to control its waters independently while avoiding entanglements with aggressive neighbours like Yemen. Looking Forward Somalia's evolving international relationships and strategic initiatives in maritime security and trade are pivotal for its future. The country's efforts to secure and develop its maritime resources, coupled with strategic partnerships, position it as a rising centre in the nautical world. Watch this space for further developments as Somalia continues to navigate its path towards stability and prosperity.

I swear it is one of the most secure place in the world, I don't know why that number of security is added to you. The people on the coast are the most urban Somali people, and they are not new to foreigners and they deal with them daily. The people they deal with include people on ships that pass through the seas of Somalia, and fishermens
Absolutely you're correct, I don't know why those foreigners are being escorted by some security guards, as everyone knows that PUNTLAND in generally safe. and

Why do not my people do foreigners truism advertisement for Puntland that looks peaceful and beautiful.. We living Europe love to go places like that for summer time. we must help Puntland to get truism .
The most kind and welcoming people in Somalia, of course, are the residents of northeastern Somalia and the north in general. The harsh life taught them a lot. Also, the frequent travel across the sea and trade with neighboring countries made them natural civilians.
Treasures and rich country and yet somalis don’t see it. If you heard the old guy saying America halwa meaning America is better! What they don’t know is people in the west don’t have anything better and live in a poverty, pay check to pay check and depression medications.
11:50 dude said they never seen whote ppl. Man dint know tht in Bargal they deal woth the Iranians, Thai, Arabs dailly in Fishing seasons. Oh those r asians not white 😂😂😂
I don't see how the Europeans like come to play, we are Africans. I don't understand what you mean Europeans like. Africans have different features and same like so the Europeans. Russian, the German, the French and the Iris all they have in common are the skin colours. I can easily tell Easter Europeans and the West Europeans let alone Scandenivians like the Swedish. Some Africans like the Somalis, some Rwandans, Central African Republic and East Africans excluding Kenyans all look similar. We are African and regardless of our differences, we are all black from Liberia to Somalia.
It’s almost like we’re the same species. Why are you surprised that newer ethnic groups (Europeans) share features with older ethnic groups (East Africans). LMAO.
