I got a soggy bottom even though I followed each step, even making my own boiled cider because I did not want to pay $9.95 for shipping from King Arthur Baking. I made the pie over three days. I made pate frisée as my crust, let it sit overnight, made the apples and let them sit overnight. The apples had a great deal of liquid after an overnight stay in the frig. I was able to find cosmic crisp apples. I live in NY. Thanks again. Any suggestions for lessening up on the liquid while cooking the apples?
