I get nascars choice because Someone like SVG or Helio Castroneves that have both been racing since the 2000's aren't really rookies especially SVG with stock cars but maybe people that are under 20 or something still have the stripes for tracks like Daytona or Dega
It's nice that iracing is adding ARCA to the NASCAR game, but if you're gonna claim nobody cares about modified racing, nobody really cares about ARCA either. How many times per year do we see videos titled, "What's the point of ARCA?" afterall. Adding ARCA to the game is a huge marketing opportunity and could help grow that series. If NASCAR cares about the modified series at all, and I think they do given its history, they should definitely seize the opportunity to add it to their console game. I think more people would care about the modifieds if they got a chance to try them out.
@ well it's hard to miss ARCA since it is an important stop on the ladder, being the first real introduction young racers have to driving on large ovals. But my point wasn't that the career mode needs to be accurate. If it did, career mode would start with every driver in karts or bandaleros at a 1/8-mile oval for 5 years, then a mini-stock at a 1/4-mile for a few before advancing to the late model division... I mean I would think that's an awesome game but I doubt many people would want to start at the VERY bottom. What people probably would appreciate is a game with several distinct racing options. The trucks sure do look different, but the Cup, Xfinity, and ARCA cars kinda look the same, which some people might find boring. I think adding the mods would add a little variety.
Something about logano merch: people who aren't big racing fans like us who watch nascar casually are predominantly Logano fans, he fills the normie racing fan audience sales, im shocked at how many people who i meet who I wouldn't call hardcore racing or nascar fans but are Logano fans.
I always liked seeing the rookie strips on the diecasts. It will be missed but overall not a major loss. It's crazy that the last good NASCAR Career mode was from Thunder 2004. I do hope it mixes in the Thunder career mode with the F1 career modes and a driver market. It would be awesome to see some drivers switch rides.
Why change something that has been around for years. It’s all about "Trust" ……"is my trust level the same, driving on the inside of a car in turn 1 at Daytona IF he/she is a rookie ?" You need to EARN a bumper without Stripes.
I actually think for career mode, they should let you select a realism level, as well as difficulty. It should scale from NASCAR THUNDER/HEAT levels of simcade all the way to full on iRacing level sim, and have the ability to play multiplayer in the same way. I also really hope they release it on PC/Steam, and that they don't break it for playing in Proton on Linux with absurd DRM or anticheat.
Far as the rookie stripes I'm a race fan so know who is a rookie and chase Elliot isn't my favorite driver I think someone younger like Christopher bell wiiliam should sale the most
The rookie stripes are nostalgia and tradition. I don't like it but whatever. This is the first time I've been interested in a console NASCAR game and probably about 20 years. Probably should not include dead and retired drivers in top sales. It doesn't look good when Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr are still out selling current active Cup drivers.
As a casual gamer, I wanna just play the game, I'm terrible at setups. If it's an arcade racing like say NFS hp2010 I'm like speed racer. I miss nascar games like 04-07, it was way more simple, heavy sim games just bore me & I loose interest quickly
Dont see the importance of a rookie stripe, maybe in the 2000s but this is 2025 and i see why they dont include the stripe in the Top series of Nascar, cause there pretty good drivers.
Damn Hamlin lost MAVIS? They were on the car A LOT in 2024. So is the Rookie of the Year award still a thing? Theres a lot of Joey haters.... and its often overlooked how popular he actually is.
I'll never eat King's Hawaiian rolls again. Jayski can't even keep track of who is racing in the ARCA series races, so how is a video game going to? It's great to see Suarez in 11th place for merch. Where's Christopher Bell on the list?
I don't think people really realize that Joey Logano IS a popular driver, the only thing is that he's just as popular as he is unpopular lol
True
Wurd! I absolutely hated him. But now I kinda like him. While still think he is still not a good person
Brakes shouldn't work in the ARCA series just to be 100% accurate
Panic decel: 0
I agree with you on them taking away the rookie stripes looking forward to the new the new NASCAR game 25
Cleetus in a Nascar videogame would be fire
I would love to play as Frankie Muniz in the truck series
I can’t wait to play as Cleetus McFarland in the new NASCAR game

I'd just stay in the modified series in the game for the fun.
Alright bro, how many if the top drivers came through modifieds, one, two maybe. Almost all of the others came through Arca

It's iRacing. Modified cars will be there #soon
@@joe52086go play world if outlaws

a drag race between NASCAR 25 and GTA 6 to release. Either way I'm taking a solid 3 days off from work for both
William Byron is my favorite driver
Elliott is mine but i like byron
I like all the drivers from HMS
The Arca series will bring racetracks that we don't get to race in regular the other Nascar games like Salem Racetrack for example. That will be cool.

You must be using Adobe Premier to edit videos. I have had the same problem with videos inexplicably getting out of sync...
Where did Dale Jr land on the merch liist ?
Would be cool if someday they could find a way to include late models to the career mode so that there is more steps in the career.
Cant wait for that career mode in NASCAR 25 thanks for the info and great video as always
Thanks for the content man
Awesome! You mentioned Dirt to Daytona 💪
NASCAR needs to make an effort to have higher quality merch. The stuff is so cheap and will barely last a few washes before shrinking
Far as the rookie stripes I'm a race fan so know who is a rookie and chase Elliot isn't my favorite driver I think someone younger like Christopher bell wiiliam should sale the most
Ugh how many people are gonna misunderstand this? It’s not required to have rookie stripes but they’re still there
NASCAR really needs a good game and 1 that's actually functional. IndyCar desperately needs 1.
I'm on the west coast I love the modified series
I'm definitely playing as Willie Mullins in the new game lol
Dirt to Daytona is still awesome.
I'm building a sim rig for the new nascar game
I already have a sim rig set up for the game lol.
I think the rookie stripe is for the viewers.
Are they still going to have a ‘Rookie of the Year’ competition when applicable? I don’t care about the stripes but the honors were always special.
That's not changing
Wait why remove the stripe??
Because we have drivers who have been in Cup for multiple years who are worse than the average rookie.
In some series there are more rookie strips than not so ya there’s really no point lol
SVG will be on there soon
I am excited about the video game!! It’s amazing

Chandler smith is running the Daytona 500
He's going to attempt to run the 500 aka the 66 car has to beat out other open cars
NASCAR 25 coming this fall
After gta 6

Theres a lot of Joey haters.... and its often overlooked how popular he actually is.
No change about the award
People complaining about the rookie stripes are because some NASCAR fans just like to complain and be negative about everything regarding the sport.
This better be a full video game and not the I renting micro transactions slop I racing sucks hard

Hopefully they do it like the old Papyrus titles, where any vacant seat or field filler car was driven by a named developer who worked on the game
Wteckfest but nascar....
They need the stripes still cause there's so many young drivers
As much as I love them, I will never buy Kings Hawaiian buns again. Yes I hate Denny that much.
lets just get rid of all the traditions....
