    Salam and many Thanks.
How about choosing worldly leaders like Kings, Amirs, Presidents and the likes?
Some say they are appointed by God!!!
I do understand that only prophets and Imams are appointed by God.
    Thank you for enlightening us.
    May God bless.

What is the difference, then, of conscious activity and unconscious activity? And thought? Is thought free choice, and do thoughts qualify as reward/punishment behaviour?

Its kinda like smoke, it slowly kills. These thoughts arent sins in themselves, but you should control your thoughts, because thoughts lead to actions or it can lead to a weakened faith.

@@towardshidayat We might differentiate good thoughts from bad ones. Intention is important. We do it with every prayer, with every action. But in my opinion, thinking itself is the strongest evidence of the existence of God, and the gift of intellect comes with free will. And is it possible to stop thinking or repress it by different means, such as intoxication, or say, meditation as practiced in Zen. Is that good? It would certainly result in not having bad thoughts( if one was able to have no thoughts at all) But then mind control is the goal of every repressive institution and can result in insanity. I dont know.

@@ynge8046 we should protect ourselves from bad thoughts, so we do not get mentally ill or depresssed. Which is why mindfulness is good. Intoxication doesnt help, its just a pause button and causes other issues. But you usually need to work your thoughts out, contemplate and adress them. Its not always good to ignore.
