People call it ratting no matter how long people sit there. Could be 1 second or 50 minutes. They will still stay ratting either way. I don’t care if people rat, it’s a game. If that’s the play style that you enjoy then have fun.

@coltk2457 yeah man it’s unreal. There’s been raids where I’ve spawned in and ran like 2 feet, killed a streamer, then got called a cheater bc of shitty spawns. Dude said I was running straight towards him even though I barely moved, but yeah at this point people say you are ratting even if you are playing slow and using audio to your advantage

I honestly think all the systems in place make Tarkov better designed for ratting than chadhood. There are definitely loads of hidey holes that you would think BSG would remove if they didn't want ratting. Having essentially static extraction points with a timer, super audible run sounds and footsteps, its a 100% guarantee that some people will camp. A wise man was once asked why he robs banks and his answer was "because thats where the money is" extraction points are basically the banks in tarkov. 😂
They literally have quests that require you to kill people in specific locations. You can't encourage ratting more than that.

@10:15 explains why it’s ill advised to even push chek or post office as a solo, unless you spawn @ or near there. Can’t tell you how many 3-4 man’s I’ve seen sit in those buildings for 20+ minutes into a raid. Some will shoot bait shots, some won’t move a muscle. Idc how people play lmao but my survivability went through the roof when I quit rushing chek and post office 5-10 minutes into a raid.

In 2 plus years of tarkov I can think of 2 times I was killed at extract. What makes people quit tarkov is tarkov. Every wipe bsg makes the game more of a grind, more toxic to casuals. I barely play anymore, and when I do it’s scav 90% of the time. My Pmc is level 4. The game is unplayable for casual solos
I've honestly found this wipe to be the opposite. With the recoil and armour changes I find it easier than ever to kill people, depends what your goal is in the game though I guess because getting kappa certainly isn't mine :)

First off, I'm pro rat, if anything. But I'm so tired of PVP ruining this game. Gaming in general is in such a bad place in 2024 because everyone is a simpleton that wants the exact same simpleton PVP experience out of every game. Tarkov, with a few tweaks of harder, and more plentiful AI, would be such a great co-op PVE experience that would actually be unique. Instead it's just another lame game where kids that were bullied in HS rush to kill as many players as possible...rinse and repeat.
