I LOVE these projects. I don’t think you go any faster than most crochet tutorials. Yes, I have to pause and write down the instructions or do the steps you do while as I go along. Keep up the good work!
Sure am glad your channel popped up so I could watch you. Love all the blocks you worked with I thought they all were awesome. Thank you for sharing. God Bless you from Alabama.
WOW!! Love that last “wave” planter. What patience and counting each level up and down ...... talk about PERSEVERANCE!! Way to go!! Love this. I might try it BEFORE I have coffee.😂😂😂
Thanks so much Sally! That wave planter may just be my favorite jenga block project of all time!! Yes it's time consuming- but the end result is totally worth it!! But oh my gosh- do NOT attempt that before having coffee!!! LOL!!!😂😂😂 Thanks for watching and for this GREAT comment!!!!❤
The Jenga block planter reminds me of a mouth or a heart, but more like a mouth with lips that is open enough for the plants to show through. I love all the colorful succulents inside the stained planter.
Ur channel popped up..I'm so glad..I love ur tower blk projects..I have 2 cases of blocks just sitting in my craft room..now I'm wanting to use them..thank u..can't wait to see what u come up with next
Oh I'm so glad your liking the diy’s! You should check out my latest video- its a tower block Christmas tree that's actually made out of functional coasters and its the perfect gift to make for the holidays! I think you'll really enjoy it! Thanks so much for watching.❤️😊
Amazing!!! I love everything you made in this video!! I am so excited I stumble across your site. I will be coming back, I love working with the tumbling blocks/jenga blocks! Your work is different from others I have been watching & I am just in awe over your pieces!! Thank-you for sharing.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Your words mean a lot to me and they inspire me to keep creating and sharing. I'm grateful to have such amazing viewers like you!❤
I'm new to your channel and I subscribed . I don't even know where to begin, I'm amazed at every one of these designs. Can I pick a favorite, I really can't. But I can say that the last design, the most jega blocks used was a beautiful, high end piece of art. Never would I have dreamed this was made with blocks. I know I can't follow the more complicated ones. When u get to a certain age things just don't flow like they use to. So I am certainly going to try some of the easier ones. I saved this video 4 later. I want to say to you that you are an amazing woman, so creative and I enjoyed your calm soothing voice. Thank you so much 4 sharing.
Oh my gosh Doris- THANK YOU for all your kind words!!! I'm so happy you found my channel, and so happy you're enjoying the videos!!! You should NOT be afraid to try the more complicated projects- they are just more time-consuming- but you can TOTALLY do them!!! I'm so thankful and happy you are here!!!! ☺❤
I stumbled upon your Channel today and Holy crap, you are talented! I am gonna have to be a medicated housewife to attempt some of these. If I do get it done I need an award. Lol Love, Love, Love your designs!!
Thank you so much!!! That is so sweet of you to say! I'm really glad you “found” me and I'm thrilled you're going to give some of these a try!!! Deep down there's a little bit of “Medicated Housewife”in all of us- lol😂 Thanks so much for watching!!!❤️😊
Everything you made is awesome. I totally love the planter, but I don't think I would have the patience to make it. LOL But wow!! It's so beautiful!! :)
Hello and love them all. I can’t wait to get started. I do have one question. Why the different glues? What makes you choose certain glue over another for a different project? Thank you.
Thanks so much- the glue situation is basically that the Dollar tree super glue wood glue is a good glue with pretty strong hold. If I'm running low, I will use the Titebond quick and thick wood glue- which is also a pretty strong hold. Then if I'm using the item outside , or its heavy (and needs extra strong hold) -or if its going to be in any wet areas- I'll use the E-6000 , which is extremely strong but takes a long time to dry. I use the hot glue mostly for video purposes- if I need things to hold quickly- its not the strongest or most long lasting however. Thats my basic thought process-lol. Hope that answers your question! Thanks so much for watching!!!😊
On #10, your large wooden planter bowl, why would you not use tower blocks to create a base for it instead of foam board? It's such a magnificent piece, I'm thinking of creating one as a wedding gift for an extended relative, but would like to put a wood bottom in it (I absolutely love it, BTW).
Thanks Mary! You totally could use blocks- but that would be alot more blocks-lol!!! You also cold just use a piece of thin scrap wood- or wood cut to size from home depot or something? Hope that helps!! 😊
45:35 It looks like a kiss! This isn’t meant as an insult, not at all!! It’s just the 1st thing I saw when the video showed this angle, lol. I instantly saw kissing lips!! 👄 Would be awesome for Valentine decor, or to put a bunch of candy in as a Valentine gift!!! I L❤️VE IT!!!
lol- I knew exactly which project you were talking about- without looking!!! Yes, it DOES look like lips, you're so right!!! Agreed that would make a great valentines gift!. Thanks so much for watching!!😊❤👄
oh my god , I wanted to do the planter that you made at the end but I couldn’t find your video again so I tried to do it by memory. 😂😂😂. I wasn’t even close to what yours is or looks like. Mine looks like a Jenga block snake. Every time I look at yours and then at mine I just about die laughing. I love all your projects. Great job. 😂😂😂. Still laughing. 😘
Thanks Ramona!! I'm sure yours is not as bad as you say-lol!!! I say give it another shot! Now that you've found the video!!!! Thanks so much for your kind words- and for watching!!!!❤
Thank you Karyn- yes I know, the planter definitely does also look like lips-lol! Love the idea of mounting it on the wall- thanks for that. Thanks so much for your kind words!!😊
Thanks Sarona!! Most of the time I use the Dollar Tree super glue wood glue, and the hold is very strong. Sometimes, if I’m out of it-I will use the titebond quick and thick wood glue, which drys a little quicker, but the hold is similar to the dollar tree stuff. I use hot glue , mostly to get the project done quickly when I’m filming it-but it’s not great for long term hold. Lastly, I will use some E6000 if I want something to hold long term, or for outside. I hope that answers your question!! Thanks for watching!😊
I'd like to take your bowl pattern and do two halfs separate and use them as wall planters. I think they would be beautiful to like your bowl. Della 😊 Have a great day. JESUS loves you !!! 😊
Wow !!! I ❤️ love all them !!! I have a stash of tumbling towers as well. I'm fond of heart's so I think I should start with one of them. I'm new here so I hit your subscribe and like buttons. 😊

Right? The coffee staining is definitely not my original idea, its been around for a while- but it works so well, and its cheap and easy too!!! Thanks so much for watching Joanna!!! I'm so glad you're enjoying the DIY's!!☺❤
Hi Debra. You can use a sealer - any kind of wood sealer ( like the shellac I used on a couple of them). A couple of coats should keep the soap dishes pretty durable- although I wouldn’t recommend you keep them in a wet area 24/7- give them some drying time and they’ll stay nicer longer. Thanks so much for watching!😊
Did you try gluing the blocks laying down flat instead of building up when you made the platter? I want to make it but don't trust myself building up lol
Im super curious about the size of your blocks. I looked at making one of your coasters with my blocks and it was closer to the size of a trivet lol. Here in Canada our blocks are 3"×1"×0.5". So far the only things I have made have been my own creations but when i picture my blocks it just seems like the end piece would be much bigger. Am I crazy? ( dont ask my kids that question. They will say I am 😂)
Hi Tracy- The Dollar Tree Tumbling Tower Blocks are just under 2" long and just over 1/2" wide- so they are smaller than your's. But these are also smaller than standard "Jenga" branded blocks too. So, NO- you are NOT crazy....at least when it comes to this! lol!!!😂 Hope that helps!!!! Thanks so much for watching!!!❤️
@Medicated Housewife DIY's thanks so much!! And the weird thing is that my blocks are actually from our dollar store here. Of course they aren't a dollar but they are really nice blocks. I was actually thinking about making your platter. I'm glad I asked because it would have been massive at the end . Btw I'm also new subscriber. Your diys are amazing!!!

Greetings from rotorua nz ❤ your tutorials new subscriber we haven't a $tree here in nz they are smaller $* star stores don't provide everything a $tree shop does in usa. An x3 invoice... we have to shop around awesome what you do,

As always I love all of your creations! You have an amazing imagination! I make my own shellac and you're right about the color. It does come out beautiful!
Thank you so much Donna!! Yes, the shellac always looks neon yellow on video- it can be so misleading - I always worry about that, so cool that you make your own!! Thanks for watching -and as always, your support!!😊❤️❤️❤️

Love these. Great ideas. Why is your name Medicated housewife 🤔
Thank you so much!!! its just a funny nickname- I've suffered from anxiety and depression for many years- and crafting has always been an outlet for me- I just added the "nickname" to the theme of the channel because for me- it fits! Thanks for watching!!!😊
@Medicated Housewife DIY's well of course you are one of my faves ❤️ and crafting is my therapy too 😄
