Every time there's a sale I come to your page to find out which games I might get excited about. You are the #1 source for honest opinions on Indie games, as well as helping the hidden gems reach a larger audience. Keep it up!
I really liked They Always Run. Controls were mostly smooth and responsive except for a few times when the third arm controls were a bit off. Game is a steal at $3.50
I'm reading Ash of Gods: Redemption reviews and seems that recent negative reviews report some very strange gameplay choices, such as using your own health of your unit just to do a bigger attack on the enemy. And a ranger shooting a normal arrow will lose health also. Like....what??
Nice, I'm really sick of Metroidvanias, re-exploring worlds over and over again really isn't for me. But Owlboy and They Always Run seem nice, thanks! EDIT: bought them both, just tried Owlboy, that thing is a fairy tale, and They Always Run really hits that middle ground between combat and cinematic platformers (please mention Another World too along with Flashback and Prince of Persia :). I HIGHLY recommend, it is a steal at these prices :)
Hi Clem, have you seen the trailer for the upcoming indie cleaning roguelite Spotless? It looks really cool and I think it deserves some exposure but sadly it’s offical trailer has only 15 views, which imo is a crime.
I love metroid style games. Looking through my library, here are some favorites (no particular order but probably close to alphabetic): Alwa's Awakening Alwa's Legacy Apotheon Axiom Verge Chasm Infernax Mystic Belle Nubs Adventure A Robot Named Fight Teslagrad Also good enough to mention but less than favorite for various reasons: Aggelos Aquaria Axiom Verge 2 Blasphemous Outland Owlboy Rex Rocket Time Spinner Titles I own and have been wanting to try but just haven't gotten to yet: Hallowed Knight Lilia's Sky Ark Cat Maze Phenotopia Awakening Redo Darxanadon Vomitoreum Tower Hunter Erza's Trial Unworthy Xeodrifter I would expect most or all are on sale right now and probably very inexpensive because I usually don't buy them until they are, and most of these have been in my library for months or years.
Dos juegos que compré con mucha ilusión fueron Aeterna Noctis y Souldiers. El primero lo acabé dejando por culpa de su terrible control, y el segundo por aburrimiento. Menos mal que los compré en rebajas.
Sympathy of War - Jam-packed full of tactical goodness stuffed to the gills along with the fantasy pixel art across diverse unit types. Souldiers - I remember when you previewed this one. Good to see it's come through bugs as the fundamental gameplay of pick from 3 classes for action-platforming looks great. Definitely one to pick up on sale for some solid fun. Definitely a few more solid bargains in the line-up too.
I swear, every time I open your videos my wishlist grows by at least two titles. You are too good at recommending!
Glad you like them!
If you like beat em up games try Urban Lockdown. If you like puzzle adventure games try Crown Jewelz If you like Adult try Uncensor Quest
Owlboy is so good! I forgot about souldiers, glad you brought it up

thanks! happy to be your source
We are starting the list with a giant woman!? dayum!
It’s a good ass game too
I bought it and didn't even need to see anything else after that. 😂
Unicorn overlord has Amalia too, if you are into that
I always find it hilarious how Diana's endgame size ends up being the selling point for so many people on Symphony of War.
See the top steam review XD
There is an indie game called " Crosscode " . It has a pretty good combat mechanics and a good story also
it's great

Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga = 10/10

"They always run" is such a insanely good game. Sad end, by the way...
I really need to go back and finish Souldiers. For all it's flaws, it's got a lot of charm.
I love metroid style games. Looking through my library, here are some favorites (no particular order but probably close to alphabetic):
Alwa's Awakening
Alwa's Legacy
Apotheon
Axiom Verge
Chasm
Infernax
Mystic Belle
Nubs Adventure
A Robot Named Fight
Teslagrad
Also good enough to mention but less than favorite for various reasons:
Aggelos
Aquaria
Axiom Verge 2
Blasphemous
Outland
Owlboy
Rex Rocket
Time Spinner
Titles I own and have been wanting to try but just haven't gotten to yet:
Hallowed Knight
Lilia's Sky Ark
Cat Maze
Phenotopia Awakening
Redo
Darxanadon
Vomitoreum
Tower Hunter Erza's Trial
Unworthy
Xeodrifter
I would expect most or all are on sale right now and probably very inexpensive because I usually don't buy them until they are, and most of these have been in my library for months or years.
Interesting selection under your favorites
Some nice games in the list. I liked They always run. Morbid looks like it can be interesting as well.
glad you like them
This is a nice list ✌️
Glad you think so!
Souldiers is a great game, idc what anyone says about the pyramid level, get good

Nothing I didnt know yet
thx for the vid though
Somebody! Please MAKE them bring Symphony Of War to Switch!!
Same thought for PS.
Owlboy ❤
It's kinda sad that Souldiers got abandoned by their Dev team😢. It has potential to be a good series
Did it? It's not out in Japan yet but on the site it said September 2024. Just translation and sales I guess.
Never take a look at Arrival of Beasts
i did because of what you said...............i regret my life choices and you were totally right. 😆
nah
What is the game in the thumbnail?
I also want to know
Souldiers
@ClemmyGames thanks.
No Bushiden 😔
no silksong

Don't get Souldiers... it looks fun but it was a failure. It's in a better state now, but it was a miserable game that looked pretty.
If it's in a better state now, why shouldn't I get it now?
@@azuarc It's like eating a pile of cow manure, but this time, the cow ate more healthily and the crap is slightly less brown.
Souldiers is amazing, one of the best in the genre
First?
yes!
