Thank you… yes you can suggest… however I am pulling a off road trailer with a roof top tent. This way I can set up camp and leave camp with my boat only.
As an old man with shoulder and knee options, i like the winch and side slide idea. But getting on a ladder and the roof of the car us not very practical. Needs some refinements. Put the winch where you can reach it. Pull the kayak up to it's resting positions and use straps to hold it in place. Make the thing out of aluminum tubing, with 1 in an 3/4 in so it will retract for storing, drilling holes with pins or buy 2 retractable telescoping Handles. I will be building mine the spring for a BKC 14 dual., too heavy to lift.
Clever, but too much effort to disassemble that ramp and transport to the launch, then store, re-assemble….. Climbing on the roof is also a risky practice.
