  • V1 motion simulator built with car wiper motors.
    🏎🛻🚘🚀✈️
Sim is working quite nice 😁 running it with LFS live for speed and assetto corsa.
Then I switched to logitech g29 kit
    VR used Lenovo Explorer
I'll keep tweaking it and adding diy accessories
The track used in the end is Mugello
If you're interested check my steering wheel build with an arduino uno, video on my channel used in the first video

Very Impressed, especially coming from a guy that just bought a DOF H2. There's definitely a programing limitation I wouldn't have easily figure out. All around impressed!

Really cool video. May I ask you a few questions?

    1. where can you get these motors and accessories for them ?
    2. And how do the two motors know when they have to do left, right, up, down, or more together?
Thanks for the info, lg thomas

Salvaged those wiper motors from a junkyard. Now I replaced them with industrial motors.
The motors and potentiometer are connected to the games telemetry via simtools and arduino
Lots of diy videos, but hard project to be honest

perfect job.... really RESPECT ( Mashallah )
    nice design and clean finishing
i need to do my motion simulator and i don't have any solution either windows wipers motors BUT i have many questions about them:
    - is it has enough torque to handle this heavy weight above it ?
    - can i use any car wiper motor or i should use specific model ?
    - is it fast enough to response on fast moves in the game ?
    Thank you in advance

    • @anthony56564
      @anthony56564  2 ปีที่แล้ว

They're ok but if you can get industrial dc motors or at least new motors, it would be better.
I was amazed by the results but now 2 motors are down and the 3rd is still working but it has a bit different design and build quality.

@@anthony56564 This is the thing that made me hesitate, really this is a frustrating thing, I live in Syria, and as you know, it is very difficult to obtain such things under our current circumstances. But your way of working was very enthusiastic and inspiring to me.. I will look for good motors and I hope to succeed with this and they are at an acceptable price... Thank you very much... Check Dmax channel on youtube and check xsimulator.net site. Surely they will help big time.

can someone help explain the picture at 0:21 for me? very very new to mechanical electronics. i've coded a lot before but i have never worked with real wires and hardware before. i've never even owned a breadboard.
i know the unit in the bottom left is an arduino uno, but what are the two other units (top left and top right in the box), and what are they controlling?

    • @anthony56564

The 2 other boards are dc motors drivers boards. They control the speed and direction of the motors and manage the higher voltage and current loop.
