I had a doberman for 11 years. I felt like tango and cash. I have had a wiemeraner for 2 years and I felt like my 3rd child

Um what? It’s illegal to dock the tail? Not here in the us and also, good luck cause the tails are docked bc theyre like switches (actually to reduce hunting injury to themselves)!! tail docking remains part of the AKC breed standard as a nod to customary practices.

Great video I was originally going to get a Doberman but then I found out about DCM it’s so sad that almost every single Doberman will develop it at some point in their life so then I decided to get a Weimaraner❤️ Great dogs and now I’ve decided to get a Beauceron😄 because I missed the protection part so it would be great to see a Weimaraner vs Beauceron video talking about their temperament a bit more as well❤️😊
That is actually not true about DCM, but it is a problem. I choose the Doberman due to living in high crime area.
How does one tell the difference between a Weimaraner and a Fawn Dóberman?
From what I’ve seen, Weimaraners are generally larger in size, and tend to have that bright gold or blue eye color, as well as longer ears (if not cropped). The Dobermans also tend to still have those tan markings on their legs/chest, while the Weimaraner doesn’t.

I don't understand why you keep showing dobermans with cropped ears. This is illegal in many countries.
Not there
and in many it is not. Not every country is a dictatorship
Having the cropped ears is not only cruel but because it makes the Doberman easier to recognize the breed is subject to more stigma & is a banned breed in many flats or rentals. I would get a fawn colored Doberman & not alter the natural look so that I may classify it as a weimaraner mix to avoid unnecessary breed restrictions
