I really hope old running man members come back as guests. Like I know why they probably won't but like, it would be so refreshing to see. Ratings aside, the dynamics would be so interesting. Man, I miss Kwang Soo, Gary, and Jeon So Min. Wtf, the 3 members I liked the most all left 😭😭😭
Gary? Gary was still in contact with them, he even came as a guest after he already left. He only cut off all contact with them when he cut off all contact with everyone he knows, so it wasn't just them.
Gary left for his family! He was in the limelight and camera constantly in his face with his family and he didn’t like that so don’t jump to conclusions. He still close w/ haha and KJK off camera
I miss him and also so min. I’ve always love kwang soo and when he left it was very sad for me bc he was always my number 1 (even tho I love them all). It was surprising when se chan and so min joined I was very lackluster towards them like a lot of other people especially towards so min. However, eventually I fell in love with so min first because of how she totally gave up being a “pretty” actress and was totally going all in on her makeups, antics, etc. when so min left I was also very sad and actually mentioned on her IG i miss seeing her on running man. Also, yang se chan has definitely grown and his skits have become so impressive and now I very much love him just as much as the OG cast. I have to say every Running Man cast member (except maybe Lizzy just for the fact that she was so brief) i have loved and missed when they have left the show. I know that if or when Running Man ends one day I will probably cry bc honestly Running Man is my comfort show. Struggling with depression/anxiety/loneliness; Running Man was my best friend and therapist. If I just wanted to feel better and laugh I would watch Running Man episodes. I’ve also said that if I had the chance to meet a celebrity group or person from Korea I would choose the cast of Running Man. While I love kpop groups and korean actors/actresses; the cast of Running Man just mean so much to me. So much that i’ve dreamt several times of being a Running Man cast member instead of being near seventeen or BTS lmao
We have to face the reality, his agency will not let him go to runningman, the one control his schedule not him but his agency. Many celebrity want to go to runningman but the agency they work with control them. 😢

He left the show to improve his acting career....but since he left the show, he's acting career hasn't improved really. He should just come back to the show, espeically since he's 100% healed up now and has no injuries.

If that was the case, he & his agency would have given the same reason as Joong Ki. By now, clearly he only opts for seasonal variety that suit his physical & mental condition. And about “his acting career hasnt improved really” nonsense, dont worry, he’s currently shooting for 2 NEW DRAMAS & expected to release soon 😉 be sure to catch that

If it really was for rehab purposes - wouldn't he have returned by now, given that his body has fully healed most likely? Yet he didn't return. Joongki left while he wasn't as huge a part of RM as LKS became after over a decade on the show. Leaving just like that to focus on something else, LKS would've been very burdened to just say that outright. Anyone reading between the lines easily saw why he actually left.

He had car accident in the past then he went to hiatus for a while but then continue joining RM back. After a few years or months something id remember, his legs still hurt then he decided to left running man for recovery and put his health first. Just this year he active back in entertainment industry, joining show with his friends and shooting drama
