    Your steps to jump roping made jump roping easy to teach. I used them for 1st grade and had success.

    Really helpful video thanks. I just tried to teach my 4-year-old this and I didn't appreciate the difficulty of coordinating the two separate movements. You break it down really clearly 👌

    This guy's great! Breaks things down to simple elements and keeps the kids engaged. EXACTLY what you'd want in a teacher at any level. Great model!

    This year I heard from a fellow PE teacher: swing it, see it, jump it for skill cues. I love your intro and steps.

    Where in the video is the demo for the first single bounce? Thanks

    • @ThePESpecialist
      @ThePESpecialist  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      single bounce is jumping back and forth over the rope and bouncing one time on each side

      Thanks, I presumed that, its just that the first demonstrated move in the video is the double bounce and I wondered if Id missed it@@ThePESpecialist

    what is the best time for jumping...morning or evening? and how many day should do jumping?

    • @ThePESpecialist
      @ThePESpecialist  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Best time for jumping? I'd go for morning, but whenever you can fit it in and as often as you can manage - the more you do it the better you will get

    Was this during one class period and did you do a separate warm up before hand.

    • @ThePESpecialist
      @ThePESpecialist  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, one class - quick warmup of 1-2 minutes of walking/jogging beforehand, just to give them an instant activity so they can actually listen to the intro

    • @ThePESpecialist
      @ThePESpecialist  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, one class. We did a quick 2 minute jog beforehand. You can of course adapt it to fit your specific situation or students needs.
