he's always been able to do them, he did a few similar low/gutturals in a section of his Mitch Lucker Memorial Show performance which was back in December 2012 just a little after his vocal recovery. it's very simple tongue placement and lowering the larynx. nothing complicated at all to what he's already been doing, and he's known how to do it for a very long time. from my knowledge he's only changed subtle things regarding his fry screams but his falsecords haven't drastically changed that much besides being less breathy. he focuses it more on his compression and putting the sound towards his nasal area... like... closer to the pallet, hard to describe accuraltely... because I'm probably using the wrong terminology, but I'm a vocalist myself and can hear it clearly. it gives a cleaer more direct forward, bright tonality to his growls. overall the core sound of how he's making the noise is exactly the same as how he used to do them. falsecords tend to be safer to do long term compared to techniques that utilize the true vocal folds more such as fry/yells.@@danrostyne9531
he actually sounded pretty dam brutal holy shit that was better than Dennis's growls (say what you want about Dennis but he had good growls especially highs and his clean range were unmatched but Danny just bested his highs and lows that's the point I'm making)
The more help and practice he gets with the screaming. The better he will be. And more he’ll do it. The way he screamed on RAndR wasn’t good for his voice. However it sounded. AMAZING
Dam they played this song? they never play anything from rekcless and rleentless or from death to destiney anymore. lmao when they opened for a day to remember, people went nuts for death of me but rest of their setlist no one cared. their new stuff is not for me or probably any of the audience that loved them during those first three albums
Well Im enjoying all of the record except Like A House In Fire that was shit, Self-titled was lit too like the whole album is suitable while driving around. And yeah been here from Reckless & Relentless
@@Narukami12 lmao you would be rare then. I like self titled too but after that album I stopped listening to asking Alexandria all together. They have more in common with shinedown these days and the disappointment from fans about that shows. Their record sales increasingly being lower with each new album they put out is not a good thing.
@@XvXMONSTERXvX yeah you right but I don't I'm like.. If it's sounds good to me I will listen to it. As for the new album well.. haven't heard all the songs yet so I don't know 🤷♂️
Danny is sounding great!
This reminds me of wathing Oli from BMTH regain his voice back. And it semms like he feels so proud of himself while doing growls. im loving this 2:39
I thought Danny couldn't scream anymore, but this concert was crazy, shit man
2:48 damn... danny hit us with that deathcore gutteral/low
this is brutal
He had someone teach him how to do them properly that's why it's sounds better now and more like deathcore
