It's so great that both brothers got to be the stars of two coming-of-age TV shows, as well as appear on each other's show (A very young Ben Savage played an archery student Kevin asked to play Cupid for a girl on the Wonder Years, and of course, Fred played a college professor who made advances toward Topanga on Boy Meets World).
Yes, and Fred's character was a total creep, but he did it well lol I needed time to get over that role

I was born in 1980 so I got to watch The Wonder Years and Boy Meets World while I was around Fred and Ben's ages they both meant a lot to me. Actually I'm in the process of re-watching the Wonder Years now.
I just finished the new wonder years and now I've started the old ones. Fred was my 1st crush as a little girl.. I was born 84

Ben is a good dude. He came into my job at a really cool bar on Sunset strip & I was his server(2018.) I was 28 & so thankful it was my turn to take a table. He asked me to take a picture of him and his friends at their table. He even jumped out of his seat with a huge smile, gave me his phone and positioned me just right for the perfect frame. 😂 I wanted to let him feel “normal” so I never mentioned anything about how much he meant to me growing up.💙

These boys will forever be my all time favorite child actors! Shows like Wonder Years & Boy meets World would always be shows our family watched together. Those times together will always be fond memories, especially since life had many crazy problems. Let’s just say, when we were watching together, no one was fighting with one another. Gotta love these Savage brothers

I loved both The Wonder Years and Boy Meets World growing up. But I still watch Wonder Years all the time now as an adult on Hulu! My kids always say "again with that show mom??!!" 😂 Yessss I love it!!

The Savage Brothers have been ruling the world since the 80s. I’m glad I was born in 82 to watch it all when it was on. Still enjoy movies and sitcoms from both brothers. Even the smallest brother comes out in the final episode of boy meets world.
The small boy that appears in the last episode of Boy Meets World is not a Savage brother. He is the son of producer Marc Jacobs. This was discussed in one of the DVD commentaries.
They have both series on Disney +

Ahh it use to always bug me because I didn’t have google to verify my thought that they were brothers. Boy meets world was more my time but I remember being super young and watching the wonder years with my dad.💙

This is so great. Recalling past times is like living again. Both reminds me of me and my brother back in the 80s. Like them, we share the same age difference (4 years apart) but we were older than them. Hope to see more of them.

Grew up watching both shows and learned a lot from these two shows. I wish my kids had shows like this today, or even that memory of sitting on the couch on a Friday night with your family to watch your favorite shows.

Aww, my little brother looked a lot like Fred when he was little and now my brother has a son (my nephew) who actually looks very like a young Ben.
Fred and Ben Savage have always been wonderful actors and we too grew up watching The Princess Bride, The Wonder Years and Boy Meets World.

I think Boy Meets World has changed me in a way that might be the greatest thing, or the worst. I simply cannot give up on finding my Topanga out there somewhere. I have tried and wanted to because no one has really come close, but I can't stop that feeling that settled in the bottom of my heart all those years ago that there was a love just like that out there somewhere for me. It's been so long since I've been in love with anyone in any romantic way, but I have steadfastly kept improving myself so that someday, these decades later, if I ever find her I can devote my heart to her. I hope she is just round the next corner.

Both brothers were monumental tonthe coming of age stories for kids for two generations. Amazing, I hade amazing memories watching both shows.

From Nick at Nite to the Disney channel I grew up with these two talent brothers on television. Such an influence on the entertainment industry. Born in 1993 grew up in the 2000s on reruns.

If they’re ever single again I’m hoping they’ll reconnect. It’s crazy how the public can be so vested in these relationships when they have great on screen chemistry cause not every couple does.
I literally finished The Wonder Years last night.
Ironically these brothers are anything but “savage” 2 genuinely good dudes, I grew up with both of them by getting all the wonder years reruns right before boy meets world started and I thought I wouldn’t be interested because I loved the wonder years so much nothing could be as good but I couldn’t have been more wrong.... BMW just nestled into my heart right next to the wonder years and both equally and uniquely helped me navigate tough years while I myself was also simultaneously coming of age... I was born in 97 and whenever I was 17 and it was the summer going into my junior year of high school my parents introduced me to the wonder years. This is when Netflix had the show and I just instantly fell in love the show. Now Boy Meets World I didn't watch until my dad had gotten Disney+ back in 2019 and I watched BMW and that was another show I fell in love with.
Both of Ben and Fred are amazing.
I hope they do more on-screen work together. I would love to see something with the two of them producing and directing that they star in. They are both really talented actors and have been exceptional actors that were comparable to adults even as children.
When they do a project I hope that includes a lot of opportunity for dramatic acting because their chemistry on that episode of Boy Meets World was undeniable and enchanting.

My very favorite show growing up was The Wonder Years! I had my first celebrity crush on Fred Savage and saw all his movies when I was in my elementary and middle school and high school years. I was really excited to see a reboot of the Wonder Years on Disney Plus. It is awesome!
