“They Saw the Signs”

- During His earthly ministry, Jesus performed numerous signs, including feeding thousands of people by miraculously multiplying five loaves and two fish. Many who witnessed this miracle were fascinated, followed Christ, and yet remained unchanged, because they were more focused on the miracle than on what it signified. Others took offense at His words and walked away. As Alistair Begg explains, however, signs like this help us understand who Jesus is-the very Bread of Life Himself, God incarnate-and what He’s done so that by believing we will have eternal life.

The Mainer is checkin in with a heavy heart. Several people have been shot and killed by a lone gunman in Lewiston. Many others injured. Please pray for all families involved. As of 4 pm on a Thursday he's still at large. 😢😢
Someone dropped the ball there. He had threatened to shoot up the barracks and then admitted hearing voices. This was months ago and yet no one did anything. He's a firearms instructor therefore well trained meaning this should have never happened. This definitely shows how man is inherently flawed and in need of a savior.
Around sunset there was some update about FBI tracking to a " former residence" and loud bang, etc.
My wife was in the mental health biz, when she could work, she says therre is probably a bunch of folks who need punishment for being as lax as they were with him, now that we know what they/we know.
God is Sovereign.

This is the day The Lord hath made. Be glad and rejoice in it! We as Christ followers must pray fervently and continually for our loved ones and our brothers and sisters in Christ. Go to church and pray together and do not be shaken in faith that Jesus is the one and only way to the Father. Pray as if today is the last day and live in hope that tomorrow will come so that we might gather more to Christ. Thanks Alistair for your reading and sharing of such a good theologically sound sermon. The story is written and we know how it ends from the Bible. I pray that the apostasy doesn’t move others in a direction away from the Truth as our world is in such turmoil that shakes us to our soul. May we keep God in our hearts that He would not turn his back to the nations founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ.

This is why I love listening to Pastor Begg. I think the way he thinks. I had always wondered who those bread would have been multiplied. I know that it was a miracle that happened but, how would it look to those around him? Did he break them in half? Or did he multiply them in whole? What about the fish? Did Jesus split the fishes in half? or did he shake it in a basket? It would have been a wonderful sight to behold.
5000 people saw Jesus , 500 saw the resurrected Jesus recorded in 1 cor. 15. It was a striking thing while listening to this man of God

Please pray for me. That’s all I need. As a christian I still trust in Jesus and keep faith even though I’m constantly faced with hardships. I believe in God's promise trusting in his faithfulness, and relying on him. But at times it can be difficult. Especially as a single mother and having two children with autism.I’m overwhelmed. My husband passed away unexpectedly, I’m all alone. Lord give me strength as I struggle to support my children. But even as I struggle to pay rent and I struggle to buy groceries for my kids. I KEEP FAITH in you LORD JESUS. I’m so overwhelmed and discouraged. I’m so tired Lord! Please keep me encouraged because I’m tried LORD!

Just rejoice and know as we go thru hard times and know that your doing right and especially God is purifing you as He purifing gold by constantly being put thru fire
