A brand spanking new channel has no business making video this good. Stunning cinematography, great story telling, very fitting music choice. Subscribed bro, bring me along for the ride 🤙
This is the most inspiring video ever ! Not just restoring cars and explaining the W124 but an entire inspiring story for all aspiring future 90s car owners!
Thanks for the words! Id like to say im keeping the standard, but upcoming videos will be less story time and more of the work ill be doing to the car. Ill slip some story time in here and there haha.
@@clubquay Interested to see how it'll turn out regardless. Small channels popping up using incredible camera and editing work to make even the lamest thing look good are very interesting to watch, and it's cool to see them grow.
You are a brilliant story teller. Also, well done on keeping the vision of making this video alive while you shot all the footage over time. You may be exceptional at honing cars but you may be better at story telling. So impressed! Respect from South Africa 🇿🇦
You my man, are a complete genius. Rare combination of amazing cinematography/picture/storytelling skills, actual mechanic knowledge and very good taste. Can’t wait to follow this journey.
YES Man Love the production. Old time German car man here modified many over the years appreciate what you are doing. Fantastic filling. Love the w124. Peace and follow from London UK
I don't know what's better, the cinematography and editing, or the storytelling. Either way brother, you have got me hook line and sinker. Can't wait for more.
Kielan sent me here, and I'm glad he did. Probably one of the best intro videos I've seen. Good cinematography and storytelling, definitely looking forward to the next videos!
Literally thought I was watching a channel that had been around for at least 8/10 years. How the hell is your 1st video that well shot and edited? More content on this level, less car guy rachet that has been flooding TH-cam for too damn long. Kudos my man, great video! No Diddy.
The audio mixing and editing is top notch, haven’t seen this level of cohesive story telling combined with a unique style of car enthusiast video. Keep it coming!!!
Holy shit what an impressively edited video and great storytelling. Have a 996 C4 myself and have been yearning for a W124 in the driveway for a while. Subscribed, excited to follow and see what comes next.
this is what I love about youtube man. finding small channels with immense passion for the things they do and watching as they grow in popularity and quality is always a treat. Can't wait to see what you put out in the future if your directing skills and vibes are this enticing and cohesive
My man this was a really cool cinematic masterpiece with perfect storytelling. I wish I was born in states like you. My dreams turn into my goals. If you need a guy in that shop I’m ready to cross the rubicon.
Amazing video. Looking forward to seeing where this channel goes! First video that has made me want to comment and give support. Wishing you all the best with your projects. Have fun :)
Loads of high quality work put here and congrats on the effect. At first you got my attention, as the video went by, you also got my interest. Being a perfectionist won't allow you to show anything below a certain standard (which you mention a lot, as it means the world to you) and as long you won't go too deep to the rabbit hole, it will all be glorious to watch and explicitly fulfilling to you to make it happen. I was here when there was just a tad over 2000 subs, watch this space fellas. Keep up the work, as it's inspiring. Good luck and take care. :)
If theres one thing I hope to do with my videos, I hope to inspire people. Balancing perfection and reality can be tricky. The W124 is my daily driver so lets see how it goes. Thanks for watching!
Idk how the algorithm landed me here, but I'm glad here for the ride. Love your storytelling, looking forward to more of your videos! Fellow W124 owner as well.
So much fire, epic cinematography, and btw, blending silver panels is considered the most difficult and impossible on any car. mad respect. And the music is banging.
Maannn this style of videography is absolutely amazing!! Combined with the story telling, makes your style totally unique. Love your work man! Would love to follow you on this journey of customising your w124 to your liking.
Dude! I’ve always owned VAG products, (and still do own a broken b5 s4 and a broken mk7 VW, both of which are heavily modified). By chance, last summer a w124 300e, particularly, a 2 owner, clean CA title, 93k mile white ‘91 example, found it’s way into my life. A buddy of mine had parked next to it for 6 years at his apartment, to which the car never moved an inch during that entire time. It was covered in moss, the single stage white had taken on a completely matte finish from the years of CA sun exposure. After years of attempts, none other than his fiancé finally convinced the owner to let the car go to her, for $300- yes, $300..! He changed the oil, battery, new tires, and drove it for about a week until one morning it decided not to start and he didn’t have the energy to care, so he asked me if I wanted it for $1100- exactly the amount he had into it. I was on the phone to reserve a tow immediately and 1 hour later it was sitting in my driveway. Turns out the car just needed a new MAS module, which I opted for a refurb unit- $250, and about 50 hours worth of painstaking paint restoration and extensive cleaning- I had myself a quite literally MINT 93K mile w124 300e - all in for less than $1400. I am not lying when I say that every single button, switch, or function in general on that car worked like new. One year and about 11,000 GLORIOUS miles later, the only thing to fail me has been the starter motor. I initially bought the car as a quick and tidy flip, but it’s warmed it’s way into my heart so deeply, I can’t bring myself to let it go. Perhaps I will, perhaps it will stay, but the w124 is a car that you will continue to discover more and more amazing thought and engineering behind its design every time you get behind the wheel. It’s truly one of the best and most surprisingly awesome cars I’ve ever had the immense pleasure to spend time with. Side note- one of my clients borrowed the car for a week and fell so madly in love himself, he recently purchased a c124 300ce 3.4 AMG BRABUS wide body that had been listed on MB Market in the UK last year- I’ll share the link to the exact car he bought and imported this most recent March. That car now resides safely just outside or the SF BayArea and is in good hands, in fact, it is going under the knife next month to receive an engine transplant- a certain AMG M275- the V12 BiTurbo from an R230 SL65. I don’t typically write a novel in response to a YT video, but your enthusiasm for the car echoes mine in many ways and I thought I’d share the awesome 124 stories I’ve been a part of over the last year. Look forward to seeing the progress of your project!
Thats an amazing story! Let me ask you a question, being a VAG guy for years, when you hop into the W124, does it give you the same buzz now? Its almost like a slow burn, you start to obsess over it more and more. Thats how I feel about it, not sure I would have felt the same way If i got one in my early 20’s.
Yo what the f... did I just witness? I think I never ever commented on a video, let alone praised someone on the internet for their skills in making a video, but dude... this is amazing! Can't believe it's your first video here. Please keep doing what you're doing. It's madness. Didn't skip a second of your video. Literally one of the best videos I ever watched on youtube, thanks for putting in the time and effort!
Amazing storytelling, I thought I understood the reason behind the swap from 911 to w124 and then comes the twist in the tale. Bravo. Thoroughly entertained.
Been following on ig since I saw the Marylin video over 10 years ago, always been a fan of your work and the lifestyle you‘ve been showing. You and your american e36 homies back in the days (like derek) really got me into stance, it has always been a vibe. My first car was an e36 and it’s still my favorite car. Can't wait to see the full video about yours. Really inspiring to see everything you do, love the aesthetics. Much love from Germany 🧡
Stumbled across this video, hooked instantly. Awesome intro, love your story and with the same taste in cars, I’m along for the ride 100%! Subscribed and looking forward to seeing you crush it!

a 500E conversion done properly? Yes!!! Very interesting canvas to start on. Any go fast mods in the future? Would love to see the full documentation on the E36 M3 btw. I used to have one, so this one is dear to my heart.
Thanks! Yes go fast stuff in the future, but once I get a garage. Im pumped to work on my M3. My main focus as soon as I get the widebody and wheels on the Benz
Excited to see what you’re going to do with the W124. Other than the 500E, the rest of the W124 line up doesn’t get much love. I truly admire the simplicity and timeless design. Awesome story of your persistence, good luck moving forward.
German cars from 90's just have so much more character and presence.. Love your taste of cars! Looking into getting e36 328i coupe myself and installing fitment lab phae 3 kit on it and maybe a turbo kit and keeping it for ever!
German cars from the 90’s is where its at! I would definitely suggest to anyone that they should at least have one E36 in their car history. Get one, but I would enjoy it in stock body form for a while, at least until you get bored with it.
Congrats on the video and your buy! The W124 is a very good plataform form dreams. If not mistaken the e320 carries the most versatile M104 variant for engine modding as it has dohc and 24v. Strap a turbo and you can get crazy yet reliable horsepower.
A V8 swap isn't done in a heartbeat. Both the 400E/500E has a different firewall and floor panel to the rest of the 124 lineup. This was made to fit the bigger M119 V8 with the auto gearbox. There are more things that differs the "eights" but theese body panel changes will be a challenge....
Came for the 124, stayed for the narration
Mostly W124 stuff on the next one! Thanks for sticking around

I am most excited to get started on rebuilding my E36! My W124 videos are basically me gearing up to do the E36 project.
@@clubquay Hell yea, as a bmw fanboy, it's great to see
Congrats on the video and your buy! The W124 is a very good plataform form dreams. If not mistaken the e320 carries the most versatile M104 variant for engine modding as it has dohc and 24v. Strap a turbo and you can get crazy yet reliable horsepower.
Thank you. A turbo would be fun, leaning towards a V8 swap...one day.
Nice video, waiting for some good content like that ❤
Thanks! More to come soon.
Respect you have a lot of talent , I definitely see a lot of potential in you ! keep up the good work
Thanks! Hoping to progress more and more.
Cool man! Congrats with new project!
Thanks Denis!
