I Think Belos And Philip Winterbane are the two brothers mentioned in episode 11 and belos was gotten by the fools blood so he knows what the human realm/earth looks like and he has a wierd thing on his face but thats just a theory a me theory....
To be fair to Luz, she hasn’t officially ran away until after the incident at the conformitormium. By that point Vee already went to camp. If Luz had returned by that point it would have stirred the pot to say the least.
Funny, Luz always had the chance to return home but didn't (can't honestly blame her) to pursue a (as Camilla) "fantasy carreer". Since day one Eda didn't know how to start to train her since Luz didn't have a bile sac and when was she planning on coming back, Vee was merely a coincidental luck while Luz was away and impersonated her not only at camp but at home when camp was over.

I think Michaela Dietz did an amazing job portraying V, her voice fits the character so perfectly, and as for Luz and Camilla well, it is clear that when Luz gets back to the human world they are still gonna have some issues to work out, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

I have a hunch that she waa actually reading Luz's fortune, not Vee's
A lot of people have theorized that Belos is one of Philip’s or his brother’s descendants, or some kind of clone or Grimwalker of one of them, but even if Hunter is a Grimwalker I’m gonna have to say that Belos is a normal human. Or at least, he was until he started prolonging his life. For one thing, he has those tiny ears that look about as humanlike as they do witchlike, and his accent and inflections are very close to Philip’s own. I also think that him being Philip, and Hunter being a clone of his brother, holds a lot more emotional and thematic weight and makes the most sense narratively. Philip would be a dark reflection of Luz, a human who stumbled into the Boiling Isles and “became a witch” despite possessing no natural magic, but somewhere he went wrong, overtook the Isles, and became…Emperor Belos. He’s been there because he’s from there, speaking about it with genuine passion, and I’m sure he misses it as much as Luz does, even if his intent isn’t just to return home. And I’m sure he misses the family he lost to wild magic, or so he says. If he was just a descendant or clone of a Wittebane who heard stories of Earth from his ancestors and originated in the Demon Realm, where would the thematic resonance be? That’s even more important than being surprising.

I find it interesting that at the beginning of the series we saw Luz put her beloved book in the trash and in this episode we saw Camilla retrieve Luz’s fantasy items from the trash.

I like what you said when contrasting Philip from his brother. This might support my own theory that when Philip and his bro were transported to the Boiling Isles, they butted heads a lot about how to get home. Whilst Philip became more absorbed and later unhealthily obsessed with wild magic, his brother was creating a plan, trying to find a way home. Eventually they came to a showdown when the portal started working because Philip wanted to stay, but his brother needed to go back, leading into a fight that would ultimately take his brother's life and send Philip into a downward spiral of guilt, grief, trauma, and hatred towards wild magic.

To be honest I kinda agreed with Vee when she said “you have a mom who loves you, you didn’t have to run away” Luz does have an amazing mom who loves her but I feel like Luz could have gone to camp and made friends like Vee did and see there was others kids just like her and saw how she’s not alone with being the weird kid but I can always understand why Luz went to the boiling isles in the first place and why she enjoys it there a lot but she is just living our her witch fantasy like she always wanted to do, however I feel like Luz could have stayed home and at least gave camp a try even though it seemed like that it would be boring and lame. However for Vee I can see why she loves it with Luz’s mom cause after her sad backstory and the things she went through through the episode and everything, she feels like she’s finally at home and she can finally stop running away and stop facing danger everywhere she goes. My thing is if Luz goes back home like she promised her mom how will she tell the others including her new awesome girlfriend, she goes have two families now and I’m sure she doesn’t want to leave them at all but she does have her mom and her home, it’s more heartbreaking cause Camilla felt like she pushed Luz away but she never did she tries her hardest as a single mom and she wants what’s best for Luz and how her face expression when Vee throw out Luz’s things showing how she loved Luz’s creatively and weirdness however we’ll just have to wait and see when The Owl House comes back and I really want to know what did happen to Phillip and what if Belios killed him or did Phillip just die from an accident and Belios took his brother’s dna and then created Hunter since he always tell Hunter about how the Titan has big plans for him and makes me wonder how Hunter will react and find out the truth of who he is really is.

I never caught on the "Noceda" thing before Luz called on her mother's name. That could technically be the Titan and that very idea is daunting and I love it.

Ik as a kid if anyone tried to get me to go to a camp I'd be afraid and not want to, Luz personality when you see her in the first episode is so relatable especially when you're neurodivergant but I think everyone automatically makes Camila like a demon, I think she really was trying to help Luz not infringe on her creativity, I mean when Vee throws out Luzs stuff Camila asks about it

I do think there’s gotta be a reason why Belos hated wild magic. Once it gets revealed we’ll likely understand where he’s coming form a bit more and he’ll be a complex villain. It seems that Dana is making him into a more complex villain than I’m evil just because I want to be. I don’t think he’ll be redeemed. The only way I think he could kinda be redeemed is if he is actually brainwashed or being controlled
The “puppet strings” Probably refers to belos being manipulated by the titan
That "taco" looking demon is actually the beartrap demon from the episode where Eda's curse is revealed (I forgot the name of the episode)

He eventually found out his brother was long dead, dug up his grave, and used the bone to create the Hunter Grimwalker?

Belos doesn't have witch ears. They are too small. Compare his ears the Hunters.
They also have a circular indent inside them like Luz's and the edges are rounded completely so it looks more like he cut them than him being born that way. And thank you I've been saying for so long that witches have huge ears
I think you got your belos and Philip theory mixed up personally. I think Philip and Belos were the same person or at the very least the body is based off the same person. The nose of the guy on the right more closely matched Belos’s in my opinion. His face structure also matches perfectly. The guy on the left look exactly like Hunter. He’s got the same nose, face structure, and even the hair curl.
I know thay it's pretty much confirmed philip is from gravesfield conneticut but have ya'll noticed how when you travel to the boiling isles through the portal door you can appear anywhere depending on where the portal door is
But once you go to the human realm through the portal door you always appear at that abandoned shack next to luz"s home. Is it possible the whittibane family lived at the noceda residence home centuries ago?
Where do you see Belos nose similar to other brother's nose? For me it's clear that Belos face closely resembles Philip's (he doesn't have a crooked nose apart from this green something on his face), while Hunter is a spitting image of the other brother... I believe that Belos is Philip who maybe was sympathetic to magic at first but after he lost his brother, he changed his mind. Because how would he be able to reconstruct the portal without journal that Luz had? Philip appeared to be a scientist of some sort, being able to do calculations and stuff. Just like Belos. And the picture in a book doesn't prove that the one that is shaking hands with a witch is Philip, because the other figure clearly has long hair too and comparing their clothes, the one with cardinal on his shoulder with bottomed up jacket resembles Philip's brother from the statue (which angle does not rule out the possibility of him having long hair in ponytail too). And I disagree that Philip didn't know of his brother's presence in Boiling Isles because the entry in his journal about trip to Eclipse Lake clearly shows that one of his companions had exact footprints like him so his brother probably were the one lost in that cave and that may clearly be the reason why he created Hunter (if we agree that he is some kind of clone). Hunter closely resembles Philip's brother with his hairstyle, face and nose. And knowing that for creating Grimwalker a bone of ORTET was needed, I think it's clear that would be a bone of decased brother.

It's possible the "true villain" is akin to the Amphibia villain and their "lord". Despite seemingly being a huge threat, they're actually just a lackey to the lord.
Might be the same with Belos. Perhaps he really is just a lackey to the Titan. So far they've made it seem as if he's lying about actually talking to the Titan but there's a chance he never was and it's literally the Titan's will all the times he's said it is.
Maybe Belos made a deal with the Titan a la Bill Cipher style which is a big motivator to fulfill the Titan's wishes.
Vee is my favorite character. An although it's somewhat problematic, I like taking a trans reading of her. Because we actually share a chosen name and it made my name mean even more to me!

When I first saw the book the statue holds I thought it might be the diary personally.
I think that the true villain is the titain, well you know since Kings dad slain the titain for stealing magic, and the titains blood drained because thing about the amount of attempts to create a portal must of taken ages, and how the witabain writer manage to get through to the demon world due to kings dad slaying the titain, know this is all just my theory.
Now I also have ideal on what happened to King's dad and why he's on the run, its because belos and the titain worked together maeing the items that belos have came from King's dad Castle, and after he shouted "son" and worriar of his awoken to keep his baby safe.
Probably makes sense.
Another possibility: Basilisks in folklore turn people to stone. Sounds like what Belos does to wild witches.

The thing about the doors is
I think Belos wants the door to be perfect. A proper, sustainable door, like the one Eda found. He's taking his time, getting everything right, and also boosting it in preparation for the day of unity.
Luz and the others were just doing a test run, and jumping right in as soon as it could open. Rather recklessly, too.
So, Belos is still in progress for a perfect door, the Owl House squad just needed to test run a prototype.
Watching this from the post season 2 finale, it's amazing how close to exactly right you are on some stuff - especially the Philip and brother dynamic, almost the only thing you have off is that Philip is Belos - which to be fair they absolutely made us think Philip was going to be a good guy in 2a. Dang good theorizing

I found the ending of the episode very emotional. I hope Luz wouldn't leave her friends but I think that if she tells Camilla about Eda, King, Hooty, Gus, Willow and Amity Camilla wouldn't have made Luz promise to stay with her. She might rethink her decision as she really cares about Luz's happiness, I just hope the show doesn't end in heartbreak.
Yeah well, Dana said she's not into that "happily ever after" stuff, I don't see any harm Luz trying to be a better person back in Earth, and even though Vee is keeping her company for now, there's no way Camila can live on her own. It's bad enough she lost her husband to death/divorce. It'd be even worse if she lost her only child.

Well Eda was Marilyn and Grunkle Stans ex wife which means Luzs earth is in the same as Gravity Falls
Wait... What if Gravity Falls' gnomes and monsters and stuff are just demons from the Boiling Isles? What if there is another portal door (or something like it) in Gravity Falls that is constantly open, and that's how it's so full of demons?
@@graceslagle8288 Well all our myths and legends came from bits of the Demon Realm leaking into our realm. It's possible Gravity Falls is some weird nexus point. Like, somehow a huge chunk of some other titan (since they're on opposite coasts) got sent there when that titan's blood mixed with the boiling sea.

Well after the latest episode, we know who's actually the blood thirsty one out of the two brothers. But the book in Phillip's older brother/Caleb may imply that is was actually him who was the author of Phillip/Belos's journal.

I’m so astonished that I stumbled across a video with the same theory as me, exept I thought hunter was a clone of belos brother but after watching ur vid I see how it makes more scene from your POV even tho I still question how hunter called belos uncle meaning he could be clone of belos brother making him his brothers descendant therefore hunter being belos Nephew but also I think your reasoning for hunter being belos clone is just as just as good evidence also if you alighn the first letter of every episode of season 2 so far it spells out “seek the key” and hunter spelled backwards is retnuh which sound like Retina a piece of the eye that soaks in light and the eye is said to be the key to the soul so a side theory I have is hunter is the key but the key to what? I think the reason why Luz’s portal was finished first was because they were just trying to get back to the human realm meanwhile belos is trying to make the portal work for the day of unity.
Man Luz basically abandoned her reality to live in a fantasy land from her mom and never even bothered to come back until the door got blown up and never told her the truth when she could...Luz needs to learn the lesson that she can't have it all and be happy and she will have to make a sacrifice to face reality and grow up!

I think the Owl Curse that the Clawthorn sisters have is that bird in the glyph. The bird representing the curse and the cage around it being the Collector caging it.

1:35 in the episode the intuder he first show up and is the one that almost gets king caught in its trap mean it being living somewhere in the owl house for months
This also mean it was killed because of the end of the episode the portal colpase and we don't see them around or the portal spite anything out
Belos is Phillip and hunter is a grimwalker of Phillip's brother!, also Phillip is the one with the torch, and Philip's brother was the one who loved witches and respected them! Also the voice luz heard I'm starting to believe that was the collector playing his 'game' because when you put on the voice effects it seemed like it!, but I do think luz will probably be able to talk to the titian.
If Belos was trapped in the between worlds place it actually makes a lot of sense. If you look at luz's shoes and cape after she comes out of the dimenion in the episode you can see green marks on them close to the color of Belos's face mark.
I noticed how Philips carving had the bird plasmin on it.
The in-between world, It reminds me of the nether in minecraft. If u go to your coordinates and make another portal in the nether u will spawn to those coordinates in the normal world. But I haven't played minecraft in a long while so I forgot how it would work.
the coded message could be talking about king "seething seas and puppet strings he no longer dreams of ____" that last word could be kings since king now realizes he isn't a king of demons

Fun fact: the reason basilisks cant consume wild magic is actually because the light glyph burnt the basilisk's mouth (knowledge)

Okay this video was back in August 2021 it’s like 2022 now, but the symbol in Gravesfield bears a lot of similarity to the emperors coven sigil. Phillip probably took inspiration from that when starting the coven systems
I think Belos and Philip are the same person, the second brother in the statue and picture, and Hunter is a grimwalker clone of the unnamed brother who stands in the front. The first brother in the statue looks exactly like Hunter, from his nose to his jaw to the one lock of hair that flips forward at the front. The face of the second brother in the statue looks much more like Belos-nose, chin, cheekbones, eyes-and the two locks of hair sticking out at the front matches Philip from the diary entries. I think the Belos that’s been emperor for 50 years is a grimwalker clone of Philip (season 1 message references two hearts of stone aka galderstones) and he’s somehow been using the body-swapping spell with a new clone every 50 years or so. That would explain the blue eyes and the slightly pointy ear, since the body-swapping spell leaves the person with a blend of their traits and the body’s traits.
