I never understood why Cary Grant never did any real musicals. He had such an amazing voice, and he could dance, even if it wasn't in the style of Fred Astaire or Gene Kelly. Hell, if it were Cary Grant instead of Fred Astaire in Funny Face, I think the film could have been a lot better, though Hepburn's performance really was hard to endure in that film, so it's hard to say that Grant could have saved the film. Yeah, I know, everyone loves that film, but it started to annoy me in later years. Even without Astaire and Hepburn, Leonard Gershe's script was just a rehash of a lot of corny stuff that had already been done before. Anyway, I went off-topic. Cary Grant would have been a great musical star.
