@@thankunext5602 Re. anti-vax, consider this: is it natural that by the age of 1 year, kids might have had dozens of unnatural substances injected into their bloodstreams? Even if some of those substances afford some protection from death by communicable disease, we should consider that an infant's immune system is developing throughout that time. Does it really need to be barraged to such an extent by medical intervention? Bear in mind that a mother's milk is formulated according to the infectious agents she picks up from her infant's skin - hence the saying "breast is best." Ask yourself also: how much do vaccine manufacturers make out of the amount of their products that are sold into the system every year? How much more did the Pfizer CEO have in the bank after Covid than before it? Why is it that doctors promote vaccines to the exclusion of natural preventatives (which do exist and can be just as effective)? Could it be because they earn more? Could it be that natural remedies and prophylactics are dismissed by so-called experts, not because they aren't effective but because they are under pressure from vaccine makers to clear away any obstacles to their products being widely adopted and paid for by governments and health services? And it is also worth considering: who is liable when (as can and does happen) somebody is injured by vaccines? It isn't the vaccine makers, by the way; they have a worldwide indemnity against any lawsuits or compensation claims. Does that seem right to you, given that the makers of just about every other product you could purchase can be liable to compensate you if their products turn out to be defective? None of this is intended as an argument against your freedom to choose vaccination for yourself, your kids or whomever you hold dear. It's rather intended to explain why some are anti-vax, and to implore you to respect their choice. I absolutely respect Alicia Silverstone's choice to decline vaccination for herself and for her child. She lives a remarkably healthy lifestyle and is raising her son to embrace it too. I think that their chances of surviving infection are thus as good as the chances of those who have decided to accept vaccination.
Umm, I’d like to start my parenting journey all over again and do what Alicia has done. Bear is so enthusiastic about food! And I love how she includes the kids which is clearly why they love real food. Amazing.
He is. I've seen other post of Alicia's where Bear has prepared Dishes. The presentation of which was better than that of most 5⭐ restaurants I've eaten at.
So inspiring. I love your organic way of living and the chilled, wholesome hands on approach with Bear. People are becoming incredibly sterile and precious so this is just really cool to watch. Isn't it funny how people will comment on sharing germs with family members but happily consume fast-food prepared by teens with teen supervisors. If you've ever worked in a restaurant you'll know what I mean.
I love this so much!! Can't wait to make it this week. Such a cute video too and love the easy directions and tips. Thank you SO much Alicia (and kids)! :)
This looked so so yummy , I recently went vegan and would love to know how u make Your homemade sour cream or make a video on it I can’t seem to find any in stores so I’m guessing homemade would be the way to go , gonna have to try this dip cause it looked amazing 🥰
How beautiful your preparation of your food is healthy and tasty vegan and You can tell it is a good family atmosphere and apart from the good preparation l see that they put good ingredients in it which makes us understand that vegan is healthy and also tasty🌈⚡🦋
I cannot find your vlog about a seaweed that was through the roof with calcium. Like 1,000% can you give me the name of the seaweed and possibly where to order it from Im from Arkansas.
What cracks me up is that I think this is the only recipe I've made from The Kind Diet (which is no offense to the book - I'm much more of a cookbook reader than an actual cook) - I love that I managed to pick possibly the only unhealthy recipe in there :)
MARY HARTMAN, MARY HARTMAN agreed!! I know it’s just for them and they’re not feeding strangers, but it was so distracting! I couldn’t focus on the food, alls I could see was drooling in the bowl, fingers in the food, hair everywhere 😂😂 if I were gonna have a cooking show I’d at least pretend to be hygienic when the camera was on lmao
Bear, you're great! You're an awesome cook. You and your Mom know a lot about foods that are good for people. (Just a reminder though to tie your hair back when cooking.)
I really want to stop eating meat so I discovered your channel and I'm thinking about trying again . It's just that I have so many food allergies that is harder I guess for vegan options . Like I can't have peanuts I can't have soy I can't have seaseme
🌱🧀 (plant cheese) usually takes a little steam to melt. In this recipe it's more for taste than texture, unlike, say a burger. You should give it a try 🙂
haha, you are talking about a woman who once spit food into her baby's mouth. It might be an ick factor for some, but it's actually beneficial for kids to mix germs like that
Recipe looks awesome but cheese wasn’t very oozy. Violife melts well. Also, watching the son play with his hair, grab the chip out of his moms hand, eating over the main bowl and putting his fingers in it grossed me out a little. Keep the recipes coming tho
Vegans get hungrier than meat eaters. I can attest to that. I'm vegan now and hungrier than ever but I'm not eating animal flesh that's why i do it. I love animals
At the end when she asks if it's kinda delicious? & he's like whattaya mean kinda... !! As though she is speaking such utter absurdity; he's literally hoeing in, you can see there is no "kinda" anywhere here, there is only DELICIOUSNESS
I noticed that too. I think it's great she's teaching her son about healthy eating and so on but maybe a few table manners wouldn't hurt 😙 Otherwise it's a great video and I'll be trying this recipe:)
You could mix in some ground beef with the refried beans and it would be awesome. My ex used to make tacos like that. Alicia Silverstone is vegan though, of course.
Serious question and don't mean to offend, but every vegetarian/vegan I have ever met looks unhealthy. To be specific, the color of their skin has a gray tone to it. Once they started to incorporate small amounts of meat even just eggs they looked healthier and had a healthy skin tone.🤷
Hey hun I just subscribed to your channel. I have been told that I am your twin since I was 14 and it's so TRUE. I look alot like you....so. Beautiful. Lol I have actually got asked for a autograph thinking it was you. And the funny thing is I did it I was a club in Toronto.
Naomi Noel actually I use shredded vegan cheese and it does melt like real cheese so I was confused about which one she used. She held up the Daiya brand at one point which is what I use.
Beans are so easy to make, I surprised why you wouldn’t just cook your own beans instead of canned.. ewwww why do they eat like that. Why not serve them . They need some table manners. What’s with the licking the fingers and chewing like that. Yuck.
i was surprised also because ive seen some refried beans contain lard.I know its her house where they film so they are showing how they do it. To me its gross and takes away from the recipes. Its one thing to show kids how they can learn to cook but it really would benefit them to learn manners and eat from plates and not dip hands into dips. But it is her channel so thats her lifestyle-remember when she had her 1st baby and she fed him like a mother bird from her mouth to his? yeah
Seriously, can this woman get anymore cool and loveable? She is so amazing x
i love her and her being vegan and i 100% support infact she inspired me to eat more plant based but why is she anti vax
She's aged a lot
