Fun fact: I saw Tribulation in Portland on the Decibel Tour, and because my hair made me look like Jonathan, the guitarist, people in the audience thought I was him! I got a handshake by a random dude, and hugged by a random lady saying "Oh, you were great up there!" I just smiled and said "Oh, thanks!"
Tribulation is simply the best and the tracklist is just freak! Thanks for sharing this! 1.Strange Gateways Beckon 0:00 2. In The Dreams Of The Dead 5:05 3. Randa 12:00 4. Cauda Pavonis 17.53 5. Motherhood of God 19:00 6. When The Sky Is Black With Devils 24:37
For those of you going crazy because you could SWEAR you've heard that opening riff in Strange Gateways Beckon before, it's because you have. It's the beginning of the Fugue part of the Toccata and Fugue in F Major (BWV 540) by Johann Sebastian Bach.
This guy is one of the best metal drummers I've ever heard. Its a shame that he's no longer with them. He gave them rhythmic complexity that they no longer have. And their new drummer isn't as technical or flashy, he's just a typical sounding metal drummer. I miss Freddie...
You can't say "bad audience" if you can't even hear them or see them half the time. Also, Tribulation may not be as popular as you believe it to be, a lot of people don't really know about it.
They definitely are not as popular as the dude says. And seriously, "worst audience ever"? Why even bother writing anything instead of "worst audience ever"? That´s so beyond nerdy it´not even funny any more...
Am I the only one who noticed that the riff in Motherhood of God ( minute 22:11 ) is very very similar to the riff of Amon amarth - Thousand Years of oppression but played a little faster?

Liked "Formulas of Death" and "The Horror" but tbh the new album blows ass. Sweden needs to fucking chill with all their same sounding occult rock shit. "Oh look we are so skinny and weird looking" LOL
IMO, Children of the Night is their best album. It's evolutionary. It succeeds in being dark and moody while refusing to conform to expectations. Looking forward to seeing these guys in Denver next month.
LOL. Swedish bands sound the same. Ghost, Subvision, Magna Carta Cartel, T.I.D., and Tribulation sound fucking exactly the same I know! You must have listened to at least one of those bands to come to such a well-informed and extremely intelligent observations! I felt the same way you did with Guns 'N Roses, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against The Machine, and Korn in the late 80s and early 90s!

Needs something from the Horror for fuck's sake!!!!
I saw them open for Ghost on April 26th, 2016. It was kickass and amazing!!! I fell in love.
These dudes are amazing. The vocal delivery and musicianship is brilliant...
Bands like this have a better atmosphere in a darker venue seeing Metal bands during daylight sux.
When you don’t know the satanic power of the sun
@@alexandermaximvm6393 : ¡ Yes ! --Sun-Ra !
@@Lunatic4Bizcas sun ra is such a great jazz musician
Like a piece of fresh air - this wonderful band!
Saw Hulten as support for Crippled Black Pheonix the other day. Never heard before, had no idea. Now I know 2 great new acts.
This video doesn't do adequate justice IMO. I saw these guys in 2016 and loved every second of it!

@@Nizzon. More than that, the whole opening riff to it. More than three notes.
Anyone that makes fun of you for that has no clue how much influence classical music has on metal.
Didn't know they were THIS good live! :D
FINALY! thanks!
best band that year
i adore them instantly ... \m// great band there is...
One of the best live acts!
05:00 The Offspring - Pay the man cover by Jonathan Hultén
I have seen them live in Montreal for the 1st time last week has headliner. Amazing show, truly one of my favorite this year, the guys where on fire!
I got to see them last night .. great show ... \,,/
Awesome band!
Formulas such AMAZING fucking album
twin peaks score though...
topnotch choice
I saw The Ruins of Beverast in Seattle a few months back and they played a score from Twin Peaks as well. Was memorable as fuck.
I love the harpsichord intro
BEST!! \m/
who is still not listening in 2021?
Fredde Granberg on drums

ok say lot. good. :D
worst audience ever
or the worst live "production" ever.
Why the fuck did they feel the need to produce a live video anyway?
This sounds like shit!
so?
You can't say "bad audience" if you can't even hear them or see them half the time. Also, Tribulation may not be as popular as you believe it to be, a lot of people don't really know about it.
I see them enough on this video, usually audience goes wild and here they just suck
They definitely are not as popular as the dude says. And seriously, "worst audience ever"? Why even bother writing anything instead of "worst audience ever"? That´s so beyond nerdy it´not even funny any more...
The drum sound is just killer but super heavy and fast keeps the shit going! But everything is kickass with these guys they are really good
God they are fucking awesome.
5:06 - someone stole riff from The Offspring - Pay The Man xD
Great band, i was there, they don't need to do much to be good on stage
🇺🇸🦅🐐
How can a human see this, and not lose their mind?
oh my gad
TWIN PEAKS, BITCHEEEEES! ONLY HEARD IT NOW

Does this band have Jane's Addiction as an influence by any chance?
Got another Easter egg for ya.... the Twin Peaks theme in the bumper at 11:06.
Fuck these guys are good
omg I feel sorry for this man. kudos that they didn't cancel the performance because of the lead signer lost his voice
no Melancholia? they didn't play their best song? bummer. even though The Motherhood of God was awesome
They're so thin :D
iggyfuntime666 two of them are yes
And cute
no hubo presupuesto pal maquillaje .....XD
The sound is not very good, and they should NEVER play in daylight. The band is just sooo good!
mono. Meh.
'In the grave of the dead'? ................... Is there any other kind? LOL
In the Dreams of the Dead, not grave.
Damn, that is some terrible production. Not that care too much about the band other than The Horror, which is mysteriously missing.
Vampire transvestites
Sounds like a great name for a punk band lol
Pendejadas, lo escribe alguien que está en su miserable casa, estos tipos han viajado lo que tú en dos vidas ni haras
death metal idk about that someone throw them a hamburger gees
this band ended at the horror album
Liked "Formulas of Death" and "The Horror" but tbh the new album blows ass.
Sweden needs to fucking chill with all their same sounding occult rock shit. "Oh look we are so skinny and weird looking" LOL
And America needs to stop making whorish Pop music, but what are you gonna do? :P
IMO, Children of the Night is their best album. It's evolutionary. It succeeds in being dark and moody while refusing to conform to expectations. Looking forward to seeing these guys in Denver next month.
Ravnkel And other parts of the world need to stop calling all the Metalcore/Mall Metal shit as Metal
Who said I listen to metalcore?
