Thank you for that… When I first watched Desperate Housewives I was thrilled to find them back.. when I was a teenager I loved Melrose Place and as a young adult Desperate Housewives came along.. that’s why those two are special to me!!!
They're friends. Marcia is close to Laura Leighton, his wife. They came to support her when she was honnored by the Farrah Fawcett foundation a few years ago

Nicolette was also with Marcia on Knots Landing, I think. Quite a lot of actors have appeared in Melrose Place. Just a very small part one actor had, that is the one who plays David Dash. He was one of the firemen after Kimberly blew the building up, lol. Also, the actor who played in season six of DH, married to the Italian woman has an appearance. I also noticed the annoying mom of Andrew's boyfriend, just for a short part.
In the very first episodes of Melrose Place, another connection to Bree was there - the actor who played Keith. However Marcia started only several episodes later, so they never met.
oh by the way now that you mentioned David Dash I saw an old movie with him! And you know when I watch a movie and I spot an actor from DH I am like 'woooow he/she is from DH!!!!' haha I don't remember the title of that movie but the weird thing was that the actor of David had the same role in the movie as in DH!!! He was actually a psycho killer and he was in prison and then he got out!!! You know those blue eyes and that look he had in DH was exactly the same!!!
She was gorgeous then just as she is now. ;)) She looked great in Melrose, now it has all come back to me. I had an ambivalent feeling towards Kimmie Shaw. I both liked and hated her back then.

I never watched DH. But it seems there was always tension between Matt and Kimberly.
