Bangladesh Armed Forces operates some of the largest industrial complexes of the country which are mainly military technology companies. These are Bangladesh Ordnance Factories, Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory, Bangladesh Diesel Plant Ltd., Khulna & Chittagong Shipyards Ltd. Etc.
Most of the defense equipment produced by these military industries are being used by the Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force. Some of them are in service with the Bangladesh Coast Guard, Border Guard Bangladesh and BD Police too.
