- Sorry about the crappy video quality... Phone camera would not focus for some reason...
Anyway, just testing sending a signal from an arduino to an automotive RPM gauge (Tachometer) to see what it would take to drive it... - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Very nice!
I was actually looking for information on using the tach for CPU load :)
Hello Vernon Gibson, could u guide me what type of motor's used in that tachometer?
hello....what version of lfs you have??? thank you!
Hey! Can you please show the schematic? Thanks
Hey! Can you please show the schematic? I mean how you connected Arduino with the gauge? Did you use a transistor for the signal, to transform from 5V to 12V the impulse?
He combined the ground of the 12v powering the gauge, and the arduino and used Tone.h library to send it different frequencies to control the needle.

where did you get the rpm meter from? I was looking to buy some of these rpm gauges just for hobby projects, would be nice if you share some information

Thanks to the author, I found all the information in your topic on the arduino forum. Let me share my schematic for this set up. It worked for me with a tachometer from Honda CBR. Use "tone()" function to send signal to the D0.
