@@murkselferkel1732 The one who discovered this most likely studied the code values of generating the load to the cutscene and then tried figuring out how to generate that same code in the 1st world by trying different movements and interacting with the environment in different ways and recording was values they generated till he get all the values he needed and executed them in the proper order. This is my theory at least.

@@backtre8776 basically it’s reprogramming the game’s memory using games item (such as the rock he pick 10 secs before the run is end) it’s way too complicated to being explained with a single comment so i suggest you to watch a video regarding ACE.
Its a bit like safecracking; you have to find parts of the code that can be exploited. Theres a great vid about getting the best run on the NES Mario 1 game

Honestly, I don't think the first 2min 54sec should count as part of the run since you're not actually doing anything. You're skipping dialogue, but you're not actually controlling Link yet. Since I'm not a speedrunner, and don't know anything about speedruns, I don't know if I'm someone who should make that judgement, but it seems like such a weird filler gap between starting the game and starting the run itself. If we did omit that first cutscene, then your run would've taken 4min 20sec instead. Which is amazing honestly, considering the game glitch. I didn't even know that software glitch existed.
