Both guys lived and breathed together in that era, and in a few years, gonan start transitioning to towards retirement. Either way, despite being the sacrificial lamb for trade, still miss Derozan in Toronto... man gave his heart and all for this city.
I think this year Pop wanted to see what DeMar could do being his first season and all...then he wanted to DeMar to stick what he’s best at which is the midrange...I hope DeRozan expands his game to outside range and 3 point range also his defense...next year with Murray being the point he won’t have to facilitate as much and will be more of a scorer...very interesting to see how much Pop can help DeRozan shine into a all around player
