Damn, Apollyon woke up and chose violence today. Great video. We had a mass migration on Sunday because of it. A lot of people left. A lot of long-time server personalities. It's unfortunate. If you aren't in any of the six clans, you don't get to be Immortal. Locking out the rest of the people that will never get to experience that side of the game. It's a shame.

Thank you for bringing this up. This is happening on my server cluster as well in the EU. The end result is that one person who is buying these accounts ruins the game for hundreds of other players. The developers don't know this negatively affect players' experience, thus leads to them leaving the server or even the game. Please continue championing this!
Mine as well, watching legit spenders leave left and right. Pilots are taking over, only a matter of time before they leave to greener pastures looking for competition; thus killing the server.

The community needs to quit playing, charge back 2 years worth of game expenses, bury the bastards with mail that requires a response and ask a question at the General meeting with the news media alerted in advance for each possible course of action. If you inconveniece the CEO or COO with a ton of extra work they weren't expecting, diminish their revenue stream, claw back as much as you can from your payment provider and embarass the company at the AGM, we might get action. p.s. Props big guy!! I was day 1 on iceburn and left 6 months into it cause it was soooo toxic even before any mergers. Been on the west coast and our server seems pretty chill. I wanted to go back east cause i like the war time better but so far Eternal Conflict and my "home" server are making me think i should just stay put.

Legally, one might think of defamation and similar civil offenses. The only possibly relevant case I’m remotely familiar with is the depp v heard libel trial, in which the jury had to determine that heard’s words were a) specifically about depp, and b) false. I’ve heard that such legal standards are higher for public figures, so I don’t know if you can be sued for saying completely true negative things about someone who isn’t a public figure. A topic for research.

If you can't compete in the RoE. Because clans like NWO have six clans. Then you'll never have immortal reign or have a chance at the RoE. Therefore. You'll be always sitting there getting smashed by whales and getting outmatched any time your marks get high enough because they all have 10-11k reso. Tell me how that would not affect your experience unless you're not even in the top 10 then it doesn't really relate to you. You will just get your free win on Thursday and get smashed on Saturday

You don’t explain how its effects war, clans, or players. You just claim that it does, I’ve been playing since day 1 with breaks here and there, been free to play, and was a part of a top 10 guild. How does this affect other players? You say it does but don’t say how or why you think that.
So only the top 10 clans qualify for Rite of Exile each week. What's happening is a certain very powerful alliance is filling multiple shadow clans with their own people to protect their current immortal reign. When those dummy clans finish within the top 10 and make Rite of Exile, they essentially throw the match to the immortal clans who they are allied with. This artificially extends immortal reigns and keeps legitimate shadow clans from being able to participate in Rite. Because the dummy shadow clans have to be pretty strong to finish within the top 10, the alliance has to bring in whales from other servers, distribute purchased whale accounts, and shift their members between allied clans. How much this affects any individual player varies, but it's certainly angered enough people on my server to cause an exodus of top 10 clans, both those who can finish within the top 10 despite the dummy clans, and those who can no longer compete for top 10 due to the dummy clans. This also happened on my previous server, causing a similar exodus. The other side of this is the only way non-allied clans can become immortal is by bargaining with the dominant alliance. For those who actually enjoy the competitive aspect of the Cycle of Strife, this probably really impacts their enjoyment of the game. Personally, after two and a half years, I'm sort of over the shadow/immortal thing, but I can understand why those who still enjoy it are upset.

@@ApollyonGaming I actually work for Blizzard R&D for Diablo Immortal, the topic of account sharing and win trading is something thats been spoken about at nausea for almost 2 years now. I can tell you for sure they aren't ever going to do anything about it. Most every game similar has ToS written the same way as the ToS for DI and noone from any company I've ever worked for enforces this. Simple explanation, if you eliminated these accounts, no more money from those accounts flow in. These accounts typically have 75k to 175k USD put into them, they wont get rid of them because the rest of the population will spend towards competing with those accounts. They wouldnt leave the game to players with 5k and under investments because they have 2 years of data saying you wont spend on their product like those accounts have. Its the sad and true reality of the entire gaming industry.. its a business, its not about happy players.

Hey bro, don’t worry about his threats. I got threatened with a defamation suit by him lol. Defamation is incredibly hard to prove and he believes no one else has wealth and lawyers on retainer. He believes he can bully most people and they usually cave. As far as being doxxed? My life is an open book and I’m not afraid of my real information being out there. Then again it’s up to everyone to make that decision for themselves. The people who know me know it’s a waste of time to threaten me in game or in person. I don’t know your situation but maybe it’s best you talk to someone. Your not the only one he’s threatened and I would worry about it. He’s just upset. Honestly this just sounds like you upset other didn’t spend the same time to get where they bought the account, I agree they shouldn’t buy accounts, but don’t see how this effects me as a player, my clan as a whole, or our chances at wars.
If you could explain how it affects the players, not just say that it does, I would appreciate it!
If you can't compete in the RoE. Because clans like NWO have six clans. Then you'll never have immortal reign or have a chance at the RoE. Therefore. You'll be always sitting there getting smashed by whales and getting outmatched any time your marks get high enough because they all have 10-11k reso.
Tell me how that would not affect your experience unless you're not even in the top 10 then it doesn't really relate to you.

Bro these whales clans choose who gets to be immortal. The fights are a sham. If you clan doesn’t have a bunch of whales or are allied with one of the big whale clans you simply have no chance of ever becoming immortal. This is how it affects you and your clan.

You don’t explain how its effects war, clans, or players. You just claim that it does, I’ve been playing since day 1 with breaks here and there, been free to play, and was a part of a top 10 guild.
How does this affect other players? You say it does but don’t say how or why you think that.
So only the top 10 clans qualify for Rite of Exile each week. What's happening is a certain very powerful alliance is filling multiple shadow clans with their own people to protect their current immortal reign. When those dummy clans finish within the top 10 and make Rite of Exile, they essentially throw the match to the immortal clans who they are allied with. This artificially extends immortal reigns and keeps legitimate shadow clans from being able to participate in Rite. Because the dummy shadow clans have to be pretty strong to finish within the top 10, the alliance has to bring in whales from other servers, distribute purchased whale accounts, and shift their members between allied clans. How much this affects any individual player varies, but it's certainly angered enough people on my server to cause an exodus of top 10 clans, both those who can finish within the top 10 despite the dummy clans, and those who can no longer compete for top 10 due to the dummy clans. This also happened on my previous server, causing a similar exodus. The other side of this is the only way non-allied clans can become immortal is by bargaining with the dominant alliance. For those who actually enjoy the competitive aspect of the Cycle of Strife, this probably really impacts their enjoyment of the game. Personally, after two and a half years, I'm sort of over the shadow/immortal thing, but I can understand why those who still enjoy it are upset.

With a Year in Vengenance / Nova and year previous in Nova - there are NO drivers 'ETC' in Vengenance and Unforgiven. We are NOT bringing in bought accounts to the server. We are not running gems and plat bots. ONE time all our whales moved into Unforgiven to try and stop Immortals from going 3-0 in Blades and getting a huge bonus in ROE fights moving forward. That we had to bring whales from 3 clans to match up with Kincaids paid accounts speak VOLUMES and highlights the crap your are spouting.
Unfortunately BELLUM was throwing Blades fights (going 0-3 then Miracle! 4-0 during ROE) - Maybe you are in Bellum? Maybe you are 'buddies' with Kincaid? Fairly certain that none of this has to do with the Clans your running down. As a final point - Vengenace and Insidae are leaving this server - Kincaid was talking to our leadership just this week - 'all will be ok, will be moving on, no control over other clans, was just a continuing vendatta with Beanz - all crap, all misdirection we have heard before. Nova moved from Fallen just over a year ago to get away from bought whale accounts / imported drivers and Win tradiing. Vengeance will split and Nova will reconsitute on a competitive server.

@@ApollyonGaming I actually work for Blizzard R&D for Diablo Immortal, the topic of account sharing and win trading is something thats been spoken about at nausea for almost 2 years now. I can tell you for sure they aren't ever going to do anything about it. Most every game similar has ToS written the same way as the ToS for DI and noone from any company I've ever worked for enforces this.
Simple explanation, if you eliminated these accounts, no more money from those accounts flow in. These accounts typically have 75k to 175k USD put into them, they wont get rid of them because the rest of the population will spend towards competing with those accounts. They wouldnt leave the game to players with 5k and under investments because they have 2 years of data saying you wont spend on their product like those accounts have. Its the sad and true reality of the entire gaming industry.. its a business, its not about happy players.
