Our weekly Shabbat Flotilla on Lac Manitou. We are a community of Jewish and friends of Jewish residents who reside on the most beutiful lake in Quebec's Laurentians. Manitou means the Great Spirit in local First Nation tradition. As Jews we also celebrate our Great Spirit every Sabbath evening. The difference is we do it on our boats and on the water. We celebrate by singing together, eating and sharing food together, blessing the Challah bread and making kiddush over the wine. Sometimes we might also enjoy a sermon by a volunteer on a germain subject such as the Parasha of the week. We have 4 clips to watch in this weeks upload. Enjoy!!
