I love seeing all of the cute baby things!! I was 17 when I had my daughter also and I worked at Walmart after school so I got all of her stuff there since I got a discount! And my managers even threw me a baby shower by coming up to my register with a cart full of baby stuff. They had me ring it all up and then told me it was all for me. I was very blessed to have so much help! My daughter is 19 now (will be 20 in Dec) and most of my friends have young kiddos. Even my older brother has a 3 year old and a 1 year old. I am happy to be an Auntie because babies are sweet and snuggly but I would not want one of my own right now!! 😂❤️❤️🌟🌟
That is really awesome that they did that for you! I never had a baby shower, my family kind of stood me up on the day I tried to throw mine. When I had my daughter though, I was working at the dollar store and they threw me a little baby shower there. I thought it was really nice. I got alot of gift cards to the dollar store from it, they didn't have any baby stuff really but I think we spent them on junk for the movie theater lol. I just remember when we were having our son which was our 1st kid, we were fresh out of highschool and didn't have a nickle to our name but my husband was able to get a seasonal job at Toys R Us and saved up for this cute Winnie The Pooh daiper bag that I saw at the mall. He came home one night and surprised me with it, it sounds kind of wierd because it was just a daiper bag but I was so happy I cried lol. I am sure the baby wrecking hell on my hormones had alot to do with it. That was a big deal to me though.
