It's a shame this lineup couldn't get the ball rolling in the 90s, as I can tell this was a very strong lineup. I'm very thankful what came after was fantastic though.
Kiske did not want to be a metal singer. I doubt he would have liked the things Helloween did in the 90s like going heavy and downtuning. Deris was a great replacement and helped them find their true sound.

Exactly, his voice on master of the rings would have been a blast. But they always had strong ego problems in the band.
