    Why wont the screw come out ??? I want to switch springs for shooting with a suppressor . I have 2 and both are stuck like a mofo...

      Make sure your washer is not plastic and then blast it with heat. Even holding it over the stove will work. Put on a heavy-duty glove and attempt to remove the screw again

      The better question to ask is "when is it not under tension"?
      And that is before being assembled.

      The guide rod shouldn't be causing an issue. You may want to use a different ISMI spring depending on the caliber you're shooting.
      The LWD stainless assembly comes with a 17lb spring. If you're only wanting to shoot 9mm your spring should be 11lbs or 13lbs.
