Not everyone in NY is wonderful. This is also a different country. Most likely they don't have the education levels that some hair stylists in the U.S have access to and attend.
Where I live they don’t have much talent when It comes to nice hair styles they always do your hair the way they wanna do it not the way you want it done it’s so aggravating

Talk about a butchered hacked-up JOB! If I went to the salon and asked for an "undercut bob" and came out like this young lady with a goofy-looking unfinished pixie, I'd be crying bloody murder and would be so traumatized I wouldn't step into a salon for the next 10 years.

Looks like the awful cut I just got for 100$. Too bad you can’t see the back before the big reveal. I cried for days after and have received my last disaster … I have decided that I can do a better job just cutting it myself! Tears!

As a retired hairdresser with 40+ years experience, the first clue was a comb with missing teeth. It went downhill from there.

I agree every time i saw the combs condition i cringed, it looked so dirty as well and her sissors appear to be blunt, my sissors are still in good condition and still sharp and ive been retired for 4 yrs, mind you they cost me an arm and leg when i brought them

IMO This should have been a razor cut. It would have accomplished the shape and reduced weight in half the time. It also seems a bit outdated and somehow too old for such a young person. It's bringing attention to her prominent nose, not a feature you would want to emphasize. The hairstylist has basically the same cut and she's older. The hair is very thick and didn't need such hard lines. The client was brave to try such a drastically different look though. Good for her, I hope she likes it. she could wear it as a pompadour!

She didn't pivot her sections on top, and she had random elevation on the sides and inconsistent over-direction behind the right ear, creating unintentional asymmetry.
That cut was a train wreck.

I have extremely thick, very coarse hair. It’s WAY too much for me to attempt it on my own. I have a great stylist, who does a great job. Please don’t insult those of us who MUST have someone else cut their hair!

I support cutting long hair to short because the long hair needs effort and time and fatigue to take care of it, but short is better, tidy and easier, and short hair keeps more healthy and exciting because cutting strengthens and renews hair
I disagree. Long hair is way easier to take care of. My hair is down to my waist. I wake up and just brush it and I'm done. When I had short hair, it was always a time consuming project every morning. Just my opinion.
Oh and cutting it does not strengthen or renew the hair. It might cut off the dried ends, but that's it. Your hair grows from the roots, not the ends.

Hello everyone hope you're all doing well today. I don't know where this place is but I wouldn't go back there for any haircut especially that short. It seems like it took for ever. I to cut my own hair this way if I have to blame it would be me, myself and I. I've had my hair cut short but I'd go to a barbershop. No disrespect to the ladies but I think in my opinion that men take pride when they give a woman a haircut and it doesn't take them this long. I've seen other videos where men go to cut their hair that look like tumbleweeds and they do a great cut and style and cutting or trimming their beards are really awesome job. I thought it was wierd that her face was so close to the girl while she cut her hair. Maybe she needs glasses, and just has to get that close to see, but I found it very wierd. HATED THE MUSIC! would rather have the salon noise.
The first thing I would have done is look at the stylist's hair and the fact that she used that weird broken comb. The way she started off with the cut seemed to be a bad omen. Then she kept cutting and cutting. Yikes! I hope the client was okay with it.
