Secondly, if you could give a few quick points on differences between structuralism and structural functionalism? My take is that structuralism: "searches for repetitive patterns" whereas structural functionalism: "believes that society is a system as a whole and institutions exist to help it grow". But I'm still feeling really hazy; any help would be appreciated!
You did mention that structuralism "identifies these patterns aka formulas and an anthropologist decodes them". Aren't structuralism and structural functionalism the same then?
Ma'am NET exam mai they mostly ask about famous works and concepts or books by the thimker. It would be more productive if you focuss on that rather than life history of thinker. Regards and thanks.
