Nice! This is definitely worth a try. Makes me think this is the fundamental advantage of the pinpoint stance. I don't feel I have as much control with it tho. Maybe each body a slightly different in this regard.
there is a baseball pitching drill that incorporates that and they sat and the student close to a wall so the hitting side pushes the player in towards the catcher.. it’s called the Hersheiser drill. named for Oral Hersheiser the Dodgers pitcher.
Very interesting. I'm not in the USA and never watched baseball. But have you tried this drill for tennis, it really works. I also have a similar one for the kick serve. I'll post it shortly. It's great that your enjoying the site. www.oneminutetennis.com
Very nice effortless serve. I would love to hit the back fence on a bounce but it very barely happens. It happens about one out of 20 times and it will bounce a foot up the fence while yours is over three feet (one meter). I too prefer staying grounded on the serve, and not jumping , just as you are demonstrating. Sort of a walking forward serve.. I notice pros kick their back leg up. Is that only required when jumping?
Hi Rudy, This kind of gives you the rhythm . But I don't like players to focus on the knee or the hip. I think you should focus on one of two things. Either raising the heels or pushing the weight into the balls of the feet. Then the knees and hips follow. But, try this drill... It really works.. I was barely trying and yet I was serving very fast. I've a also created another drill for the kick serve. I'll post that in a day or so Let me know how it goes please?

Hi Steve, should I focus on the left hip

@@oneminutetennis you are rught I forgot the first part without racquet when I did it. Let me try again
It's worth perseverance... I think it really works.
Let me know how it goes this time?
Mate if you are going to make a video about Nick the first thing required is to spell his name correctly
Respect and competence please
Ok, next one is Nick's underarm serve.😁
I think I can do that ..😃
Sorry, maybe a good technique for the forehand, but Nick really jumps vertically to get the best racket drop possible.
Really? Check where he lands 👀
