I have a 60+ year old sycamore in my yard in NW Ohio. It appears healthy but developed no seed balls this year, do you have an explanation or idea as to why this may have happened?
I'm close to New Hope Bucks County I'm in Warminster and I can't believe that sycamore trees can photosynthesize through their tree bark I have a sycamore where I live and it is huge and I've noticed the same thing in May that it looks like it's dying off but I also read that they can re-leaf later in spring and summer due to an early spring chill
Thank you Sir. I have two 50 year old trees in my back yard in northern CA and the leaves are always pale yellow and sick looking with lots of tiny holes in them. In spring, when the tree should be vigorously growing, it does not and tins of leaves fall to the ground year round. I wish I knew how to help my trees.
Just discovered I have two large sycamores on my newly purchased property. Thank you for the video and information about these fantastic trees.
We love the 2 "ancient" ones in our backyard. Must be over 100' tall.
I also think that they are magnificent! 👐🌳
Really a brilliant talk about sycamores. Thanks - much appreciated…
Thank you very much for your video. Truly helpful in knowing this tree. Greatly appreciated!
Let us know if you have any questions about sycamore trees - Bill is always happy to "talk trees"!

We have a sycamore tree that is losing it’s bark. Can anything be done to help the tree not lose any more bark?
Jersey for life!
