This is the Conor that made me a fan, not the one calling people pubeheads. He's very insightful and has a great mindset. Then again, "head clean off" Conor is awesome too, there's a fine line I guess.
Lord Farsanky Conor is always humble in victory or defeat, but make no mistake he's a ruthless opponent. He'll say almost anything to get the division fired up. By the way, seen some of your Conor HL videos over a year ago, you're doing some great work.
In his great military treatise, The Art of War, Chinese general Sun Tzu laid the plans for victory in any battle. Conor lays a seed of doubt in his opponents mind from the moment the fight is set. He gets them to over train, waste energy at weight ins, and god knows what else goes on during fight week. When the fight starts he sets the rhythm he like which is chaos - he finds the harmony in the chaos and gets the job done. That seed of doubt starts to grow until it's a matter of time. Either way Conor has shown us that the fight game is an evolution. I would love to see him fight Pettis.
You are thinking to much into this guy's fighting style, got nothing to do with Sun Tsu This is not the GOAT, this is a hype master with a bit of talent papo, wake up...
10:40 haters in a nutshell cant wait to see this wrestler dive in for the takedown and get a swift knee to the jaw. lights out. goodnight. then it'll be "yeah hes good but he hasnt fought anybody trained in the ancient shaolin teachings of bak mei"
Chailce Charch Ah come on give me a fucken brake. I don't hate him and certainly do not hate myself. His talk has turned to trash, reason why I stopped supporting him. And I have supported the Irish Republicans my whole life. WB
Gawd Damn thats DEEP @10:35 , Gregor Calls It Before he has even been Matched Up with Aldo for a Title Shot.... OK so we know Aldo is Notorious for Pulling out of Every Title Match in the past few years but still crazy for Conor and his Camp to be actually thinkin/planning for it just in case this far out..

Win or Lose I cant wait to see Connor fight for the title and I believe he will hold one or both belts eventualy!
The notorious not only rapresent Ireland, but the flag of all Europa fighitin history..and anyway there is answer for his success, the scienze saw : the human skull is not designed to take mc Gregor shot.
I want Connor to win. I do believe he will eventually get tested, and it may be a good wrestler/grappler to do it. He will eventually lose, and I want to see how he responds. I support him and want him to succeed though.
Good point, he's not going to go undefeated his entire career, unless he retires early (which wouldn't surprise me if he did since he's all about the money). But I'd like to see where his mental strength and confidence goes if/when he loses. He's lost before, so I think he will handle it well.
Connor is an amazing fighter. He tells it like it is. Promotes himself brilliantly. Makes fun of some fighters but at the same time he's not disrespectful. He's simply on a different level than all the other fighters. He walked through 3 dangerous opponents like it was nothing. Made them look like they never fought before. None of them had a chance to win. How many more people got to get hurt? LOL love that one.
Both men are gentlemen. Conor seems very humble, never saw this side of him before. I really hope he does beat Siver and keep the steam train rolling. Great interview.
conor is a class act. him saying he is willing to fight edgar if the ufc or aldo doesnt want to make the fight is more than pure class as a fighter. im wishing nothing but great things for this man, he is rational and well spoken.
What does he say at around 1.15 "its like getting smacked by a hurley?" What a great interview, very genuine, none of the suit/money talk or one liners.. real genuine thoughts
I agree with McGregor that fans are always questioning his abilities even though dominates every fight, however I don't think that a match up against Siver was the right call. Yeah I know, they booked the fight when all the other top FW's were already matched up but this is the kind of match up that nobody expected or even asked for. But with a win he is pretty much guaranteed a title shot so we'll have to wait until then.
I am a big fan of Conor and in this interview a saw anger and a fire we only see of him maybe in fight week. Its been a couple of fights where he didnt have this fire
Wrestling can be a hard thing to overcome, I hope he brings out all the weapons on siver to keep him at distance. He said it himself siver had proven that he can wrestle with the best
***** I'd say he's on about the new six part documentary that is coming out January, there was a film crew leading up to the Poirier fight and I'm sure after that. I think they would release the show in America too because it makes more sense because the build up to the Siver fight
Actually, it's quite possibly the other way around. Max Holloway won 4 fights this year alone and Marcus Brimage recently landed one of the greatest kick KOs in mma history, it's fucking crazy! My theory is, once you face a demon like Conor everyone else after that seems a lot easier. It all comes down to will power.
Obviously Dustin was out after the war shot. Dustin has a rock chin, the only thing that puts him down is an ear shot, then get the finish when he's on the ground
I think Connor made a good point, about fan loyalty, it's like Man utd, easy to support the "winners" or in politics join the "winners circle". I supported and still do support Andrei Arlovski, ever sinece he lost against Fedor, I was waiting for his return, and his last fight was good. Oh connor? Champion for sure.
Once Conor Mcgregors work is done at 145,Norman Parke for his first scrap at 155 would be sweet,South vs North even though It's the same place........Eire : )
If Conor is able to get back up quickly (He won't be able to stop every shot from people like Chad or Frankie) He will win both fights. The tougher fight would be Frankie though, He's way more experienced and has a better understanding of the fight game than Chad does. He also has better top control
I don't say this about many people.... and this may come to some as a weird angle, but this guy should get into acting. I would love to watch him in some kind of medieval combat movie because hes animated and has that talent. Of course I would rather see him fight and learn from him, but I'm just sayin he has two career options if he chooses and I highly suggest he look into that.
Benjamin Balisky good observation there ! He did get a movie role but he turned it down because he wanted to train for the second fight with Nate Diaz. He is going to be on game of thrones in the future and that's not a lie
***** Won't he? Funny as people like you said the exact same thing about his last fight, which he ended with ease. Edgar has the wrestling, but low on power and speed compared to Connor.
I think it would foolish to over look Siver considering his experience and durability. Not to mention that nasty liver kick, I'm not saying he will beat Conor but as we see so often anything can happen in this sport and your hardest fight is the one you're supposed to win. I feel like post-Siver, only Aldo makes sense for McGregor, though Frankie would be more a challenging opponent for him, Aldo isn't going to bring the type of intensity and grappling experience that Edgar does.
It's as simple as he put it. when the time to fight comes, he shows up impressively and consistently. When he is given media obligation, he talks fight talk like any cunt would when you get in a scrap. But it's business, and he's a guy with good work ethic. Bring the title to Dublin Connor!
actually i change my 1st comment. because of respect for the interviewer. he asked the difficult questions. ie the dive with dustin, [ he did seem to go down from it too easy, same with brandao, he went down like ton of bricks after waiting for conner to hit him? YOU know its strange. to me its clear to see, its to build a fan base from ireland and make more money, so like any business or virus it will grow like an organism to thrive and divide and stay alive, so if the UFC have to pay off a few has been fighters to take early nights at the office, of course they will. THINK PEOPLE THINK
The shot was clearly to the back of the head, followed by a hammer fist to the temple then another one to the back of the head. That being said, I don't see how Poirier would of taken it anyways.
I go back and forth with Conor, I LOVE him in the cage but outside eh can be a bit douchey I realize he is putting on the gorgeous George routine but disrespecting your opponent is not my thing. I think if you are talented which he no doubt is, you don't need to play mind games. In this interview he was great, I agreed and enjoyed everything he said.
Phillip Brooks should test himself out in a lower league first, Jumping straight into the big leagues with no real fighting experience could get him really injured. Especially with the amount of wwe injuries hes had.
+willfessaha1 WWE today would stop a match if a dude gets a broken arm. Once they stopped one of sin caras matches because he broke his hand or wrist or something.
There is a reason why he doesn t go against a top5 wresler its because once he gets the belt he has to have an opponent to defend it.or he will wipe out the division before having the belt. Conor will get the shot next after winning against Siver. His shot will not be at a stadium in Ireland, though. There won't be any money made for the UFC considering the PPV numbers.
I like McGregor, but i'm not blind to skills. How's he going to knock Mendes and Edgar out when he's on his back. He has a chance against Aldo though. I'm just excited that he's brought a lot of excitement to the featherweight division. I'm going to enjoy the show.

Wow, I had no idea Conor was capable of being this humble. This is the greatest interview I've ever seen.

Then again, "head clean off" Conor is awesome too, there's a fine line I guess.

By the way, seen some of your Conor HL videos over a year ago, you're doing some great work.
Conor was always humble
His always been humble. His only cocky when he knows he could beat the guy. Like what he said his cocky but his humble when victory
Infamous Soulja
After making a statement such as that, you DRASTICALLY need to go look up the definition of "Humble"
They hate him but not more than they hate themselves!
lmfao! There's always going to be something.

when he beats a wrestler and takes the belt from Aldo the dorks will still say that he hasn´t fought anyone and demand that he fight Cain.
liskran two weight world chamo and they still say hes being gifted fights

love this interview, ufc need to show more people this side of conor
Love this guy. His passion and dedication can inspire/apply to a lot.
The notorious not only rapresent Ireland, but the flag of all Europa fighitin history..and anyway there is answer for his success, the scienze saw : the human skull is not designed to take mc Gregor shot.
I've seen him generate 936lbs just from one of his left hooks. He's a real life demon.

Conor McGregor for President.
Excellent interviewer, great interview.
I really like this interviewer. Been watching his vids here and there for a couple of years. A little bit biased but that's to be expected.
I want Connor to win. I do believe he will eventually get tested, and it may be a good wrestler/grappler to do it. He will eventually lose, and I want to see how he responds. I support him and want him to succeed though.

Accurate comment. He lost and literally got like twice as good as a result.
Love the ending! So much appreciation Conor is the man and WILL be the CHAMPION!!!
Andrew, yer our helwani (that's a compliment btw)
Good interview
Connor is an amazing fighter. He tells it like it is. Promotes himself brilliantly. Makes fun of some fighters but at the same time he's not disrespectful. Great Interview, Great Interviewer. Much Appreciated.
Both men are gentlemen. Conor seems very humble, never saw this side of him before. I really hope he does beat Siver and keep the steam train rolling. Great interview.
great interview
This guy is a fantastic interviewer, so refreshing. Keep it up lad.
Really smart and respectful interview questions.
Very enjoyable.
Both guys are so intelligent. This interview brings them both on a higher understanding where they create a vision. Remarkable
conor is a class act. him saying he is willing to fight edgar if the ufc or aldo doesnt want to make the fight is more than pure class as a fighter. im wishing nothing but great things for this man, he is rational and well spoken.
What does he say at around 1.15 "its like getting smacked by a hurley?" What a great interview, very genuine, none of the suit/money talk or one liners.. real genuine thoughts
A hurley is what the players use to play the Irish sport of hurling.
Conors movement is gunna bring him a long way n it has so far &i do believe he has what i takes to get that belt #futurechamp
Great stuff from Conor, as always. Good questions, too! Cheers for sharing this.
First same time DOUBLE CHAMP in History!
Down to earth guy who talks the talk and walks the walk. You rarely see that in fighters nowadays.
good interview
A true silver tongue.
I agree with McGregor that fans are always questioning his abilities even though dominates every fight, however I don't think that a match up against Siver was the right call. Yeah I know, they booked the fight when all the other top FW's were already matched up but this is the kind of match up that nobody expected or even asked for. Conor speaks the truth.
Connor respects this guy. He knows his profession. Good interview.

This is the McGregor I like, great guy here
Wrestling can be a hard thing to overcome, I hope he brings out all the weapons on siver to keep him at distance. He said it himself siver had proven that he can wrestle with the best
This reported has good interviewing skills! Calm, composed, and good questions that are on point!
Real as Real can be
"i think it's disrespectful to siver" - thats why i love conor, he DOES show respect! he just has more confidence in himself! and why not?!
I cant help but like this guy. He says a lot of honest things.
Great interview, we finally hear to the real Conor McGregor speak, and not the guy pushing for a title shot.
what documentary is he talking about?
it was before fight night dublin. it used to be on youtube but it was taken down cuz they are gonna air it on american television on fox i think
WesternInfantry when ?
***** some time in january or february I heard. Its on sale over in ireland on dvd google amozon they might have it.
***** I'd say he's on about the new six part documentary that is coming out January, there was a film crew leading up to the Poirier fight and I'm sure after that. I think they would release the show in America too because it makes more sense because the build up to the Siver fight

Excellent interview!
I could listen to that guy for hours straight....
Great Interview. Props to the reporter!

He needs to say that at the next post fight interview to joe rogan. That would be bad ass !!!
This guy is the definition of a superstar.

Can't believe it.... Porier is in this exact mindset now
When conor beats u your career is over ,has anyone had another fight after getting beat by him ?
***** Holloway*
***** its a 4 fight streak actually
Actually, it's quite possibly the other way around. Max Holloway won 4 fights this year alone and Marcus Brimage recently landed one of the greatest kick KOs in mma history, it's fucking crazy!
My theory is, once you face a demon like Conor everyone else after that seems a lot easier. It all comes down to will power.

FRIDAY NIGHT AND THE LAST MAN THERE. RESPECT 100%
Obviously Dustin was out after the war shot. Dustin has a rock chin, the only thing that puts him down is an ear shot, then get the finish when he's on the ground
he has grown on me. Very impressed after the Dustin P fight.
you should check him out now
I think Connor made a good point, about fan loyalty, it's like Man utd, easy to support the "winners" or in politics join the "winners circle". I supported and still do support Andrei Arlovski, ever sinece he lost against Fedor, I was waiting for his return, and his last fight was good. Oh connor? Champion for sure.
good interview - subbed
Now Conor is legend

I think this is the real and down to earth conor....
He'll never beat Mendes or Aldo
Nah, we won't beat them, he'll kill them instead.
Tw!zted Metal he wont even beat frankie edgar
***** Won't he? Funny as people like you said the exact same thing about his last fight, which he ended with ease. Edgar has the wrestling, but low on power and speed compared to Connor.
"He ll never beat poirier"
yes he will
Coner mcgregor vs mendez we all want it

The Urban Silverback....a very dangerous breed indeed....
The shot was clearly to the back of the head, followed by a hammer fist to the temple then another one to the back of the head. That being said, I don't see how Poirier would of taken it anyways.
nearly 50 k views in what a week ?? this guy got something special
haha u was right my friend
The best fighters in MMA history tend to be rather quiet.
GOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE MAN!!!!!!!!! THE NOTORIOUS !!!!!!!!! CONOR MCGREGOR!
I go back and forth with Conor, I LOVE him in the cage but outside eh can be a bit douchey I realize he is putting on the gorgeous George routine but disrespecting your opponent is not my thing. I think if you are talented which he no doubt is, you don't need to play mind games. In this interview he was great, I agreed and enjoyed everything he said.
its not disrespecting. its funny when he makes fun of them.
*****
Read back what you just wrote
Kujien its all in good fun. he's not being malicious when he makes fun of them.
He's even said it before, it's just for laughs and to bring excitement. He's actually a very humble person
If he acted like this more often and brought out the other McGregor for fight weeks only. He would Forsure be my favorite fighter
Watch jimmy interviews. It’s sickening how much he imitates Conor lmao
Phillip Brooks should test himself out in a lower league first, Jumping straight into the big leagues with no real fighting experience could get him really injured. Especially with the amount of wwe injuries hes had.
When UFC comes calling, I think he just couldn't refuse. Besides I think UFC will give him some lower opponents first to test him out anyway.
There's a ref that will stop the fight before you get hurt in the ufc. If you break your arm in wwe you have to finish the match.
+willfessaha1 WWE today would stop a match if a dude gets a broken arm. Once they stopped one of sin caras matches because he broke his hand or wrist or something.
Legend of the game
Conor Bless!
There is a reason why he doesn t go against a top5 wresler its because once he gets the belt he has to have an opponent to defend it.or he will wipe out the division before having the belt.
I m not irish but i feel that mcgregor is the same caliber of fighter as anthonis pettis.
I like them both they will defend their titles multiple times both and still for pettis.
Khabib to will have a shot after dos anjos.
i really hope he does what he says he can do lads but he wont get a shat at aldo till he do rank 3 and 2 unless it would be unfair imo but he is awsome and good for ufc and tv
R.I.P Dennis Siver
Conor will get the shot next after winning against Siver. His shot will not be at a stadium in Ireland, though. There won't be any money made for the UFC considering the PPV numbers.
I like McGregor, but i'm not blind to skills. How's he going to knock Mendes and Edgar out when he's on his back. He has a chance against Aldo though. I'm just excited that he's brought a lot of excitement to the featherweight division. I'm going to enjoy the show.
