Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate it's a real challenge, and I used to struggle with it alot, but oddly enough in this palace series I've sort of discovered along with you guys that building in chunks that makes for good quality videos with a nice level of satisfaction and completion is mega hitting my own dopamine receptors and the completionist buzz of hitting really visual milestones is actually helping me stay motivated. It doesn't always work out that way and it's a tricky juggle but all part of the job haha! Thank you so much for watching mate

Every time the creativity on display just astonishes me. Painting up a little plastic mini is difficult enough but at least the design has been made for you but this is literally making it all from scratch. It’s gonna be such a masterpiece when you finish it in 10k years😂.

I find it hilariously ironic that you're constantly crafting with insulation foam, but can't work in your studio because it's uninsulated! Maybe your next step should be to line your walls with carved palace ramparts ti serve as an epic backdrop and keep you a bit warmer!
I know right hahahahahaha, it's such a big studio it would cost so much cash to insulate, I'm looking at the costs at the moment but I just odn't think it's in the budget this year sadly.
Inspiring! I've made some pretty huge scenery... but it doesn't compare to this. My number one dream project is to build a crashed Imperial ship. 40k scale that's basically impossible because it would still be about 100m long..... at epic scale its a bit more doable, but still so big you could only get a small portion of the ship on a standard table, even with some of the smaller warships. 40k scale really is just absurd and I love it. I've never seen anyone capture its scale as well as you have.
This is just architectural work at this point, its amazing! All the small towers all the details and they are just a hint of whats to come... jeeeeezus crikey i love this so much

Maybe keep the tower removable and have a place you can integrate it into a lower section of the board? That way you can have the full glorious centrepiece when you have the room for it but it doesn't go to waste when you're constrained by a lower ceiling
The Imperial palace is looking suitably epic Lochie. That tower is a thing of beauty, with all its gothic arches and flying buttresses. I am so looking forward to the next additions and the final reveal. Then will come an epic scale Armegeddon game I suspect. I hope there will be a video of that game as well.

What a CRAZY project this is turning out to be! It's insanely satisfying seeing it come together like this. Keep up the great work! Nice trick with those high up doors opening onto huge drops is hand rails made from car mesh cut into strips similar to using wider grided wire for 28mm model terrain hand rails.. (also hjand rails give an excuse for a splash of colour.

Amazing work ! I love my into the am shirts shorts and joggers. Only issues i have is after a few years some of them have finally shrunk a bit but other than that i pretty much don’t wear other shirts at this point.
Oh my god, the last tier of that tower is fine! But in my mind it reaLly is the perfect place for the "Bell of lost souls". Because lets be honest, this is slowly turning into the Tower of Heroes... Love the work!!
great job! I know height is becoming an issue but I feel like at the very tip instead of 4 spires in a row, replacing the two middle spires with a larger, super fancy single spire would be a cool finish to the whole thing
