Kinan Abuakel-The Buzuk epic (official video)| كنان ابو عقل- بزق

#letters is a new album for Arabian Buzuk, it encompasses four original pieces by #kinan_abuakel , brand new in terms of composition, arrangement and performance. It is a sequel to my main project “ #contemporary Buzuk,” which aims to take this instrument to a new and uncharted musical horizon.

This piece was composed in winter 2023.
It contains a combination of diverse musical patterns.
This work starts some “Motives”, which are similar to the #romantic_European_classical_musical , then gradually shifts into the #eastern_classical pattern and some other patterns currently used. These patterns support the voice of the singer, who in turn sings some verses form a poem be the poet “Elijah Abu Madi”. This mixture of musical patterns is an honest expression of the composer’s psychological state whilst living within the lands of Syria.
