Oh this is so lovely. Winter Wonderland Whitby😊Andy and I were up there in October staying at Captain Cooks Haven. Beautiful area. I had the best time ever. And the chippy near wetherspoons is amazing❤
Utterly magnificent to see Whitby in the snow ❤ I love Whitby, haven't been for years as I'm no longer able to drive plus Whitby isn't really easy for wheelchairs, at least not the bits I want to see again where my heart is 🙁 Beautiful and wonderful to see it again especially in this magical wonderland ❤️

We drove up from Leicestershire to Robin Hoods Bay yesterday. A169 was closed from Pickering to Whitby.😱 Now sat in RHB for the Victorian Christmas weekend and its icy! We love this part of the country.🥰🥰🥰
It's a part of Whitby I have never seen I keep forgetting there is a council and housing estate on the east side .. it's a part of Whitby I am not completely familiar with... People assume Whitby is just the seaside part of the town.. it's not it's actually a very big town . My football Thornaby actually played Whitby town in the past years . Not so sure right now as I have nothing to do with that anymore . Good old Whitby.. it does not matter what the weather as it is still my number one goto place outside the lake District.. thanks again TWP 👍😀
I loved watching vlogs but I forgot how cold UK getsI've been away too long. Heck it's 11.30am I need to go and get some things done before the day gets away from me. Thank you for posting, it was delightful 🥰😍🤩
It actually snowed here in Teeside the last few days and the temperature has drop significantly.. put in the next few days apparently we are expecting rain which is always the case I was kind of looking forward to a white Christmas 🎁 ⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄⛄ .. the weather doesn't know what it wants to do here in North Yorkshire.. NCA live on the North Yorkshire side of the divide... I will keep saying.... North Yorkshire 😊 because I don't live in Cleveland nor do I live in the county of Durham.
Very Rare. In the past 15 Years I think we have seen it 4 or 5 times. We are at sea level so need freezing days (Days with daytime temp not getting above freezing), and we normally need an east or north east airflow.

A lot of people come to Whitby and only ever see about 500 yards of it.
I have so many happy memories of Whitby as a child it's a beautiful place and thank you for showing us all the lovely places stay warm

We had quite a few mobility scooter hires Glenn...the snow was lovely but it made it impossible for them to get out.

USED TO LIVE IN GLAISDALE DALE, LOTS OF SNOW THERE IN WINTER BUT IT WAS VERY RARE IN WHITBY.

Snow tyres in the uk ,not many people fit them or are unaware of them ,I have Michelin cross climate tyres on my car
