As I feared, the tablet is confusing people. Let me clarify: All my kids except one already have a tablet. One lost hers on a trip. We're only replacing it because she keeps asking for it and I think her and her sisters are sick of sharing. My kids don't understand the concept of what things cost so I never considered this to be an issue and I think I know my kids well enough to know they'll be happy for her to get a new one. I appreciate the concern, and fully understand how it sounds, but my husband and I both agree it won't be an issue with our kids. Thanks! ❤️
Kids just want what they want. They don’t count and compare. They are busy looking at their own. One Xmas isn’t to be a big deal if they perceive something uneven.
Nice haul. I love that most parents do not go crazy at christmas anymore. Keeps kids grounded. I would just wrap the ferris wheel in the box came in. My uncles used to double tape up or decorate random boxes for our gifts. Theyd wrap up the shipping box with tissue or whatever or stick gifts in cracker boxes. It was so much fun. Because we never had a clue what it was until we finally got it open. Which made it a mystery. Sounds silly but one of my gavorite christmas memories as a small child. I think you bought your kids just the right amount. Have a great christmas!
The Kindle Fire Kids Tablets are amazing! We are started with the basic model when my daughter first got hers and moved her up to the new model last year. They are so much more affordable then iPads and work great! She is going to love it!
Re: the tablet. When we were younger, my sister received a Nintendo DS for Christmas, and I got a stuffed dog and new books. I loved my gifts, my sister loved hers, even without me already having a device of my own to occupy myself. When they’re so young, kids don’t realize disparity between cost or what other people receive unless they are told to. These aren’t middle or high schoolers who are very aware of what others are getting, so unless your kids read the comments on this video, I think it’s perfectly fine 😂
You did fantastic. I didn’t realize people took gifts that others are buying so personally lol! Hilarious. We have 3 kids also you don’t have to explain a thing. Some years it’s a lot, this year minimal for us. Curl up in bed with movie with them and I bet that are happy. That’s all that matters honestly. The family time.
I guess I'm just confused because my sister and I got a lot of shared Christmas gifts while my brother would get his own and it was never an issue. It just made sense to me. 😅 My kids share a lot and they have a lot of their own stuff too. I think it'll be fine. ❤️
love the books thats something that I still need to get. I also got my youngest daughter my little ponys too she loves it! the tablet is cute.. great haul,, we went to 5 below and theres so many board g ames there for $5! we got the north pole in Manhattan its the one with the elf..
They also make ghostbuster comic books for kids. They only a few bucks and our kids love them. Great gifts 🎁. New sub here and can’t wait to see in the future
Loved your ideas. Don't over excuse for the tablet. We know and understand why you bought it. My girl loved her magnetiles , have you got any ?love from france xxxx
Last year my youngest got a tablet for Christmas, she's the only one that didn't have one and that's what she "asked" Santa for (she was 2.5). My kids know there is a budget for each kid, and they get what they can get in that budget. If it's more expensive, then they may not get as much as the others. My kids are 11, 7, and 3, for context on that. I will be doing my videos soon on their gifts for this year.
Thank you for these ideas, I'm definitely going to look for that LEGO set because Lego is just always a winner in our house and that one looks spectacular.
Love seeing what everyone bought this time of year. gives me ideas for my nieces (one of whom is named Kaylee btw). Appreciate you sharing. I love that the first item is a book. You know my passion for reading. Best item you can give a child. Happy vlogmas Kaylee.
Loved what you bought for your girls!!! I have 4 boys and 1 girl but also a bonus daughter but she likes only boy toys lol!!! I live in Utah as well and yes it's so cold this winter way worse than last year!
Elephant and piggie books are the best! They are perfect for learning and I usually read the elephant part and my daughter reads the piggie part. You should check out Pigeon books too.👍😊
Hi there, I just stumbled onto this video and I wanted to give a couple recommendations for board games in case you might like some, if not, please disregard 😆. Outfoxed (spelling??) Is what I got for our family this year (it's a cooperative who dun it game but with woodland animals) and the other I'd recommend is from the I-Spy Eagle Eye....my 7 year old daughter and I love playing it over and over, its a quick game of finding objects on your card fastest. The bell is of course a huge bonus to the fun. 😅 Merry Christmas!!!!!! P S. I love that Disney Lego set too!!!!!
I don’t think I’d consider a tablet vs a Lego set favouring one over the other. That Lego set looks amazing. Edens getting a fire tablet also this year , she had my brothers old phone as her “tablet” for a year or so but it’s super old now she the battery sucks and the memory is pretty small so she fills it up CONSTANTLY. So I got her a tablet. Planning for it to be the main event but then she went she asked for a heck ton of other pretty pricey objects 🤦♀️
@@KayleeFarnes no she had no idea on cost at all, she’s 7 but only just starting to learn about money but still she doesn’t truly understand the value ofcourse. Her current interest is baby dolls and barbies and the prices of that stuff can get crazy fast. I know she’s got way too much still but I couldn’t tell her no you can’t have what you want because mummy decided to spend the money on something you didn’t ask for or want but I decided you needed.
I have 5 kids. 15, 13, 8,8, and 6. I think you did great. The comments about the twins sharing a book or one getting a tablet is crazy. You get them each what they want or need. They have multiple books and if you find one they both would love you don't get 2. My twins big gift is a doll house to share. My six year old is getting a large disk swing. ultimately they will all share the items. My 15 year old got an expensive desk. Does my 6 year old want a $250 desk or a $40 swing? He'd pick the swing!
My sister and I always got shared gifts growing up and we have a nearly 3 year age gap. So it just seemed normal to me. 🤷♀️ Thanks for your kind words.
We had the ice cream kinetic sand set last year. We ended up chucking the sand in it as it smells so strong its not very nice so we use different sand with it. Youl see what I mean once you open it 🤢 lol x
High people should not make you feel that you are favouring one child that's not the case like you said your daughter lost hers on her trip so because of that, she got the new tablet if people are going to judge you for their not very nice people I'm not judging you. I think it's very good of you to want to replace it for her because it was an accident. It was accidentally lost so if people want to bully you and upset you over it then they're not worth It, don't worry about it you did the best you could and yeah you're you're a good mother and don't don't let people bother you OK you don't feel bad about it don't ever feel bad for your kids you do what you need to do for your kids, and no one else should be saying anything at all if they do that or not nice people.
I don't think it's fair or appropriate that you have your twins have to share a book. I just bought the same book elephant and piggie vol 1 for $8 on AMAZON. They have MULTIPLE volumes for the same price around about. What are your twins going to do? One reads while the other twin sits and then the other twin reads while your other twin sits?? Give them two books! I don't understand why they would have to share a BOOK
You don’t have to understand. Not your kids not your problem. The internet has made people way too loud and bold for no reason. Her Twins can’t read, she said that, it’s more likely she will be reading to THEM. Also buying two of everything takes up space maybe she doesn’t have much room left for books? I have 4 kids I don’t buy each of them separate books, we just buy books and anyone can read them when they want.
My kids play and read with diffrent books and toys at diffrent times. My daughters never really sit and read together (my house would be very peaceful if they did😂) that being said I do but multiple gifts for my girls if I buy 1 daughter a pram I get the other one a separate pram so they have their own gifts
It's the absolute audacity in this comment for me. Wow. You don't understand why another parent chooses to parent how they parent? Ok. It's not your place to understand. Everyone is doing the best they can and the judgement isn't necessary. They're 3, I'm very sure it's the parents reading to both of them at the same time since they share a room. The internet is really just too much, everyone thinks it's okay to tell other people what to do and how to do it.
She got them all 3 a book than added a book They share a room and are siblings so what is the big deal? The only people who find this unfair are just ridiculous. It is a book lol. I doubt her kids will even give it a thought. Leave her be

Candy land is a good game for your girls ages. You don’t have to explain why you bought anything you bought. You do what’s right for your family.💕💕💕
ooh! Candy Land is a great idea! I loved that game! Thank you!

I can't believe how well this video did for u! Definitely need to see more hauls etc.
Awesome gift ideas!! The my little pony set is adorable!!
Thank you! ❤️ I know my girls and the ponies will be a big hit!
Enjoyed the video very much. Do not stress over the tablet. GIFTS are individual unless they are shared.

My kids can't even read yet so I think I'm good! 😄 thank you so much!
You did great! I’m also so excited for Christmas 💕💕
We do the exact same for siblings gifts! 5Below! And have to go the day before so they don't tell eachother what they got! 😆
that's so smart! we haven't had an issue with them telling each other yet, but I may need to do that this year.

Wonderful gifts! The Ferris wheel is cute❣️
That one might be my favorite. Especially since she saw a picture in an ad and asked for it specifically.

It looks so fun! I can't wait to put it all together with my kids. Thanks so much for watching!
I'm glad you say you can't wait to put it together with them because I get way too much joy from Lego myself. No shame😂😂
Super cute! Love the pony set. It does not matter how many gifts you did well I'm sure they will love everything 💕
The pony's are so cute! I'm extra excited for that one.

Chelsea! Yes! Thank you. 😅

Elephant and piggie books are the best! They are perfect for learning and I usually read the elephant part and my daughter reads the piggie part. You should check out Pigeon books too.👍😊

There is a ghostbuster cartoon from the late 80s early 90s that may work better
If you don't like Ghostbusters you should try the real ghostbusters TV series it's more child-friendly than the Ghostbusters movie
Kaylee time!
