I watched this movie in 4K in theatre last week, such a great film. Tony’s eyes are so attractive. Last night I watched In The Mood For Love, the color grading is different yet still a masterpiece!

I moved to Hong Kong on August 13th 1987 and experienced much of what made this movie great., I know every location in the movie. Many years of my life are trapped in this movie. A brilliant experience. Add oil Hong Kong.
There's a moment in film where Faye for a brief peeked into the first story, that is around @ 17.16, when the Blonde Wig Woman was in front of a shop and Faye came out of that place with a Garfield stuff toy she bought. That was really an Interesing intersection and the whole time I was looking forward for somethig that would take me there. Anyways, loved the movie. I felt different after thismovie ended. Tarentino was OBSESSED with this movie.
They're showing this in 4K format at Emperor Cinemas here in Hong Kong this month!!
Crazy how the second part of the movie just erased the first one in my memory, even with how excellent it is. When I think of Chungking Express, I think of California Dreamin", I think of selling fish and chips, I think of airplanes.
THE EMOTIONS IN THIS MOVIE GODDAMN
He is magnificently handsome, and she is extremely beautiful.
hands down my fave movie of all time. It gets better the more you watch it
One of my fav films.. I miss the 90s HK 😢
I watched this when it went out in the 90's and instantly loved it. Many many years later I flew to California and had only this song in my head, and that image of Faye Wong. California as a dream... long gone.
Wow the edit really captures the overall vibe of the story well!! Thank you fot this🙏🏻
Thank you! 💙
You should check out the 4K version of this (better audio/video quality)

I love this movie, everytime I see it its like the first time and maybe thats what is important, the discovery and not the experience!
Could a movie possibly get more unabashedly romantic than Chungking Express? First time I saw it, I just had a huge smile of joy on my face while watching it...
This song triggers emotions that I haven't felt in years
i wish i could live inside the wong kar wai universe
Oh ❤❤❤
This film is precious
Faye Wong inanılmaz bir kadın, doğal ve masum bir güzelliği var,. Sanki bu dünyadan değilmiş gibi.
My girlfriend love this movie, and i love her!
Just discovered your channel and I adore how active you are and how well you edit these videos! It seems to be a very lovely passion of yours and I’m glad you’re sharing it with the rest of us. I love your song choices and movie choices! Thank you :)
Thank you! 🙏🙏
Glad you like my videos!
Fayei cok seviyorum, harika biri
Apparently, this is a film. It's a film I've not only never seen, but have never even heard of.
It seems very interesting, and all of that just framed by this video. Now I'll have to check it out.
I thought this was some kind of short film created to work as a music video. I was wrong.
It's very beautifully done. Excellent job.
You got a like. Great work!
You're about to enter in a world of wonder and magic crafted by the master that is Wong Kar-wai, have a good trip!
And then, if you want, on my channel you can find plenty more about this director, definitely one of the best (if not the best..) of the last 30 years.
@@Clarencito Thank you!
@@TheHylianBatman I suggest you to start from "chungking Express" , and then go with "in the mood for love"
@@Clarencito Thank you, I will keep that in mind.
@@TheHylianBatman after Chunking, go for Fallen Angels (1995)

Kar-Wai Wong movies are so special
i really like the first story when they meet in the bar but the second story she just capture your heart.
I moved to Hong Kong on August 13th 1987 and experienced much of what made this movie great., I know every location in the movie. Many years of my life are trapped in this movie. A brilliant experience. Add oil Hong Kong.
When youtube recommends a banger.
I'm addicted to these forever
Then you might want to check out the new 4K version with better visual and audio quality

I can keep on repeat watching this movie ..,. Every time I find a different perspective ….Hong Kong movie at the finest
Someone take me away form this, Because I got addicted
Plenty more Wong Kar-wai on my Channel if you want to diversify your diet 😅✌️
The first half of this movie was so great. would have been so satisfied if they continued that story too until the end.
On my channel you can find a full video dedicated to the first half ✌️
Fist half was soo good, i really wanted to see what happened to the blonde girl.
0:33 this one scene where she is just moving her lips as the lyrics goes is so... I don't know, tasty to see is the closest word to define it now
There's a moment in film where Faye for a brief peeked into the first story, that is around @ 17.16, when the Blonde Wig Woman was in front of a shop and Faye came out of that place with a Garfield stuff toy she bought.
That was really an Interesing intersection and the whole time I was looking forward for somethig that would take me there.
Anyways, loved the movie. I felt different after thismovie ended. Somewhat a different feeling.
watch part 1 of the video and you will find exactly what you search ✌

Wong Kar Wai the goat. Also loved Faye Wong's cover of Dreams by the Cranberries in this film. Nice edit!
thank you! my fav film, fav Faye! Touching every part of my heart!
With CHUNGKING EXPRESS, the first story is about what a man thinks he wants in a woman; the second is about what a man REALLY wants in a woman!
