Thank you so much Coach, a fantastic explanation. I do appreciate that you make time for us to make wonderful videos. I learned so much from you ❤. God bless you and your family 👪.
Wow your videos are super helpful and explained in such a straight forward easy to understand way !!! Love love the videos! I have a question about tracheotomy tubes (unrelated to this video) .. I am trying to understand how to distinguish between a tracheotomy tube that is obstructed and a tracheotomy tube that is dislodged ! They both yield similar outcomes and present the same clinical picture
Thanks for this excellent video , my question is why did not you use the inspiratory pause to check for Plateau pressure ? And was it possible to look for static compliance value on the monitor itself? Driving pressure is best indicator for lung inflation and a value less than 15 is always good.
Hello! Newly minted paramedic here and I had a question. Not sure how safe or unsafe this theory is, but generally when we have patients w/ pulmonary edema/CHF their blood pressure is sky high. I know that protocol states that we institute CPAP first then go to Nitro. Since CPAP and PPV cause hypotension...could you increase peep on the CPAP mask to try to decrease the patient's BP as well???

Good morning Coach! The analogy that you have explained regarding the use of peep relating to compliance was fantastic.
Sir make a video on Effect of positive pressure ventilation on hemodynamic status, and how we manage it?🙏
I think I have one, but will try to update soon.
