Congratulations! I gotta admit. I fell off the training since the beginning of this. But getting it back! Super proud of you. F**cking Majestic! (Though I prefer that Wheezy shirt)
WheezyWaiter hey wheezy just to let you know that it is because of you that I started running a year and a half ago and now I have completed half marathon runs, thank you!
You were incredibly motivating to watch (and I loved the workout at NerdCon). To my mind, you have just the absolute perfect blend of pushing while reading the limits, and your energy is absolutely contagious.
I always liked running, and this challenge motivated me to give more importance to exercise, and to push my limits to run longer and faster (I'm at 12 km, 10 km/h now, and training to improve)! Also I've never liked strength training, but watching you guys doing it and having fun, I gave it a chance, and tried almost all you equipment-free exercises. And I'm starting to like it! My progress is so fast with those! Next, I'll try yoga. Wish me luck!
Thanks guys!! I REALLY focus on making exercise as fun as possible. If you don't enjoy something (even if only a little) it's not sustainable. That's what I love about this show. It showcased the extremely vast options of fitness out there, so truly anyone can find some thing that works for them!!
Totally! I'm also surprised (almost to the extent of being scared) how fast those 100 days flew by. It feels like I started watching those first videos of the series not more than 3 weeks ago, even though I actually watched them on the day they were uploaded.
I love how when he recounts who joined in with the 10k (at 5:25 ) it feels like at the end of a series finale when they bring in all the important people that were introduced during the run of the series for one final battle :D
matthew walker hank and Katherine then, although I don't know how fit she is and I feel like two married people with a new born wouldn't have the time for this
I shouldn't have watched this in public I'm tearing up oh my goodness. I have immensely enjoyed this show and am SO GRATEFUL to John and Chris for doing this and to everyone who has helped them and the channel. Honestly this is the best TH-cam series I've seen and it's helped me a lot. Thank you so much. Happy day 100!!!
I lost 25 lbs and formed some new habits and friendships in the 100 days Nerdfighters Facebook group and even started a 100 days Habitica party, so thanks for everything. I will turn 40 this September so John and I are almost the exact same age. So I am sensing my own morality. Like John B's sundial reminds us Omnes vulnerant, ultima necat (all hours wound; the last kills)
At the beginning I could barely do 1 push up on my knees and now I'm up to 16 excellent-form ones on my toes! That's been the most exciting change for me, but I'm also amazed that I ran 10k (just by myself on flat sidewalks) yesterday as at the beginning I couldn't run a mile. Doesn't even feel like that much time has passed!
The day has finally arrived... day 100. I'm sadder than I thought I would be at the end of the series. I desperately wish that ya'll will continue the series. I will be participating in an Out of the Darkness walk for the American Foundation for Suicide prevention in the next few months. My arthritis makes running too painful, but I enjoy walking very much. At last year's walk I had to quit half way through because of my arthritis but this year I hope to finish strong. Thank you for this series. Thank you for helping me find motivation. I had been in such a slump after the suicide of my best friend two years ago I had given up on a lot. Thank you for showing how to make sustainable lifestyle changes. I may not be where I want to be, but I am better than where I was... and that's one hell of a start.

And something must be said about how enjoyable it is to watch John Green suffer.
100 days motivated me to change my relationship with food and diet like I never could - and I am saying this 10 kilos lighter, while preparing myself a healthy dinner and packing my gym bag. And although I started quite late, about 30 days in, it has been really great to - in a way - spend these 100 days with you. Thank you, and DFTBA!
John finishing the race was perhaps the best moment of 100 days. You could see the pure joy on both john and chris's face. Watching Chris finish the race was pretty cool too. Seeing this whole journey has been fantastic.
I'd love to see videos occasionally going back to show John and Chris trying out more new physical activities to inspire us to keep being playful in being active! My ideas include poledancing, some form of dance class, and way more outdoor sports (cross country skiing, snowshoeing, tree climbing, for example). ParticipAction here in Canada has a neat challenge where they created a list of 150 physical activities and are challenging Canadians to do each of them at least once this year, to celebrate our 150th anniversary as a country! It's got everything from ringette to synchronized swimming to traditional Inuit games to wheelchair basketball to yardwork. Thanks for the best fitness series I've seen yet, 100Days! I loved seeing ordinary people take actions to get fit.
I'm SO SAD 😭 I'm going to miss this. It was a really good source of motivation for me which has been extra important lately because I've been really depressed. I'm so proud of both of you and I haven't gotten into exercising yet but this has given me even more proof that it is very important and helps with all aspects of your life. I hope this channel continues with other participants? 💗
This is my favorite internet series and I'm so sad it's over. You guys are the coolest. To answer your prompt about races, I volunteer for them, I don't run. I'm handing out water for a run this Saturday. Standing and cheering for actual runners is my favorite part of running. ^_^
Watching this made me realize that maybe Chris plays the "jerk" character for fun but he seems to be a really good friend to John. Congratulations you both!
Dear John and Chris, I have no pictures yet, but because of 100 days I found out aerial yoga exists, and it's exactly my cup of tea. I found I have a trainer near my home (in Riga, LV) and am taking classes there. It's only been 6 or 7 times so far, but already I've gotten rid of back pain from being a sit-at-the-computer-stick-figure. If and when I get a picture, I'll tweet it. I hope it'll be my 100 and more days, because so far I'm loving it.
I'm not a runner by any means, but I lift weights consistently and I've followed this series since its inception. As a kinesiology student and a fan I just want to say this was a great series. Physical activity is one of the most rewarding uses of my time and this series dedication to multiple facets of health from the dieting to tracking metrics has been, well inspiring on any day. SO thank you for the series and I hope this experience was worth all the effort we've seen you put in.
Nice run, I would be very interested to know what activities you guys plan to continue pursuing beyond 100 days. Speaking of races, I'm running Dances with Dirt on May 13 in Brown County State Park (IN). You guys would love (or hate) the hills there.
John and Chris, after watching your channel I decided to try to run a 5K for the first time in my life, and I completed it with a time of a little over 43 minutes, and I have never been more proud of myself for completing the race despite my physical impediments (diabetes, being overweight). I just wanted to thank you guys and this channel for helping inspire me to take better control of my physical and mental health, because I've found that exercise helps me clear my mind, much like John discovered. I've also printed off all the workouts you guys have included in the community tab, and I'm going to start adding those to my regular workout routine to increase my fitness. Thanks, you guys. Proud to be f**king majestic, like an eagle in flight, with you guys.
I was having a not great afternoon and this made it so much better. Even though I didn't do any exercise alongside you it still felt like an accomplishment. It was awesome seeing you improve every week and I'm really happy for you guys. I'm gonna miss having this show as something to look forward to every week. DFTBA!
I've only done one "real" race last year from which I went from wheel chair to 5k in about 8 months. I finished dead last, but the money went to a local animal shelter so just the fact that I did it was something to be proud of. I am doing a 10 mile virtual race for the Hogwarts Running Club to benefit To Write Love on her Arms, so that will be fun (and done over several days)
I have some races upcoming. I'm a handcyclist, and I've been doing that since before 100 Days ( a little over a year). I did my first half-marathon last december. Coming up, I have a 10k next month, a couple of 5ks, and another half-marathon in the fall. I've been watching 100 Days because I'm about John's age (40 in January).
My first 10K was decades ago - in 1984 - here in the District of Columbia. I was a biker and not a runner but I showed up to support a friend who had been racing for a while. We jogged along together, finishing the flat course in about 52 minutes. I was hooked. I've had to walk my three most recent 5K's because of a nagging hamstring injury. But I came in third in my division (70+-year-old men) in a 5K race on February 5 and first in my division on a hilly 5K course in November in Delaware. My times have slowed substantially since my glory days when I was in my young 40's. I don't care. As friends tell me, I'm still out there. I encourage you two to do the same.
It's amazing how fast these 100 days have flown by. I spent them on my own quest for a healthier life by tracking my food and making healthier choices when it comes to meals. I've cut out soda and reduced/cut out other processed carbs, as well as cut down on excessive calories from snacking. With these few simple rules I've been able to lose 38 lbs. since the start of the year and I have only 16 lbs. left until I hit my goal weight.
I am so proud and so happy for you both! As a dancer, physical activity is something very important to me and brings a lot of joy to my life and it makes me so happy to see you experience that. Especially since you had previously not found joy in exercise before. It's incredible how much it can help your mental health and I'm so glad you've found that.
I never really intended to follow along with 100 days, but somewhere halfway I felt motivated to exercise a bit (which I hadn't really done in two years). I now run four times a week, throw in a bit of squashing or kayaking, and enjoy it immensely. I especially love that this wasn't about losing weight or gaining muscle, but just about getting fit and healthy - in the long run, I find it sooo much more motivating. Thanks, everyone. It's been a blast. You've probably made tons and tons of nerds get outside for once.
I've only just recently started working out due to the fact that I have chronic illness + major depression disorder. Watching all of these videos has continued to motivate me to become a better person. So thank you
This 100 day project kinda coincided perfectly (and totally unintentionally) with my own project of being healthier and I can't believe how quickly it's gone by! I've been doing yoga everyday (looking fucking majestic in that down dog like you John ;)!) and cut out pretty much all sugar except for a treat a week (can't go cold turkey when waffles and pastry exists!) and my next 100 days I've made up I'm gonna incorporate some of the exercises you guys have been doing. Baby steps! I might never hit a 7 minute wall sit but I'mma try real hard! :) Thanks for being there along the way guys, it's been a great motivator. I wish you'd do 100 days 2.0 now!!!
I ran a 5k race on Saturday to benefit Special Kids, which is a ministry/charity that helps children with disabilities. Not only did we raise a lot of money for Taylor, the daughter of one of my workout buddies, but I PR'ed (which, I've learned, is cool-fitness-dude lingo for hitting a personal time per mile record) with a 11:41 pace! So yay all around!!
Thanks to you two and the 100 days challenge, which I just finished last week, I've lost 20 pounds and even better, I have a much better relationship with food and exercise than I did before. I also have a lot more confidence in myself and my abilities. I'm signed up for a 5K at the end of May, raising money for local charities, and I'm so excited! I should get a F*king Majestic shirt to rep you guys :)
I did a 10k in 2015 and told myself that if I did it in under 1:30:00 I would be proud and my time was 1:25:26 !! Congrats to you both on an inspiring and healthy 100 days!
Congrats John and Chris! I did a 10 k trail run in Natural Bridge Caverns in San Antonio Texas, with a time of 57:09. I am running in the AJC Peachtree 10 k on July 4th a tradition I want to do as long as I can
Congratulations!!! I can't believe it's already over - I'm so gonna miss this... I will go back to the beginning and watch this again. F*cking majestic!
I didn't watch all of these as they came out, but I definitely will use them for years to come as reference material. Don't let some of the lower view counts for episodes discourage you you guys did an awesome thing that will change a lot of lives. I know a lot of people where waiting for the 100 days to be done before they gave it a go.
My son is five weeks old, and I still haven't fully recovered, so I have not been participating along with you guys. All the same, I have really enjoyed following your journey, and I look forward to starting my own once Willo and I are more mobile. I am currently 329 pounds, and my goal is to be not too heavy for a trampoline by the time the kiddo is old enough to play on a trampoline ^__^ Getting below 200 would be lovely.
I just ran my first 10 km run, although it wasn't an official race I don't think I would have done it without the motivation this show has given me!! Thanks John, Chris and everyone else involved, DFTBA!!
This has been so inspiring. I dance at my college but this series inspired me to work out even further. I'm training to run a 10-kilometer as well. Thank you both, and everyone who has had a part in this channel. Also, nice camera work Sheridon. We appreciate the shots of a dying John Green.
Also the pictures!! Please don't forget the "after" pictures. You guys have really helped me. I deal with chronic health problems and one of the only ways to combat some of my issues (specificaly my back) is to work out, FYI incluedes running which I have never been a big fan of. It was nice to feel like I was working out along side you guys. Thank you for an inspiring 100 days.
I've been running races since high school (I'm now in college). I've done 5ks, 8ks, and 10ks in the past and I'm hoping to finally find the time to train up for a half marathon after graduation this May. It's awesome to watch one of my heroes go on a fitness journey! Here's hoping the channel lives on
Congrats guys. I'm gonna miss these videos once it's all done. I can't believe this project is nearly completely over. I'm so proud of what you two have accomplished
Oh my gosh I'm so proud of both of you!!!! I know that these 100 days were tough, but you stuck through it all and learned so much. It was wonderful to see you all grow and become stronger humans. Although I did not work out with you all along the way, you have inspired me to work out more and to find pleasure in it. Congrats on running a successful marathon and I hope you both hold on to these life lessons and keep living healthy long lives :D
I'm so proud of you BOTH and I LOVVEEEEEE THIS SERIES!!!!!! I've been watching vlog brothers forever but I wanted something more specific that I could relate to, and I've been struggling with physical and mental health for the LONGEST!!! I loved this, and not just for entertainment but also it was so informative and easily accessible. Great Job💚💚
I did a 10 miler this weekend and Pr'd by 26 minutes!!! I ran a 12:22 pace, but the most important part for me was that I felt great when it was over...no shin pain like I normally have in races, I felt like I could have kept going. Thanks for the motivation over the past 100 days!
Ahhh I cannot believe that 100 days is over!! I loved this channel so much! Congrats to John and Chris!! Hopefully they will keep this channel going in some way after the follow-up videos
Congratulations! I'm working towards my first Spartan Race later this year as part of my ongoing plan; so, I appreciate what it took to get through the 100 Days (and be filmed doing it!)
I can't believe it's been 100 days already! I've been loving this series. It's so inspirational! I hope there's still plenty more to come. Great job guys!
This 100 days have been F»cking Majestic! This series has motivated me to work out with friends, and now we've made it to the first month! We're not ready for a race yet, but let's hope we make it to at least 100 days :)
I have a 10K coming up in May... I had to stop training for a couple weeks recently because I got a back injury! But, I'm getting back to it now. I love running in that I love how it makes me feel after... but I hate getting into it ;)
WAY TO GO... I've loved following along with you guys. Be careful with the racing, it can become addictive. A few years back a friend invited me to run a half marathon with her. Up to that point I had never done a race and my longest run had been around 3 miles. As of today, I have completed 37 races (mostly 10K and half marathons) and have a wall full of racing bibs to remind me of where it's taken me. Now, If I go more than a couple days without running, I start to feel lost.
This has been one of the most important reasons why I got back into running. I have a 10k coming up on the 15th of May. (I couldn't quite get there in 100 days, I started at not being able to run 1 km on January 1st) Congrats on making it. I'm going to miss the (very relatable) commentary! 😁
WELL DONE YOU GUYS!!! xD You have inspired the antisocial nerd than I am to start exercising. I've been doing 30mins to 1h a day yoga and dance work-outs for the past three weeks-ish and I hate to admit it, but it's changed my life. When people told me exercise was good for your mental health, I always thought they meant in the long run, but I felt the effects immediately after my first dance work-out. Now I'm doing it more for my anxiety than to get rid of the morning aches (that makes me sound so old but if you're over 30 and unfit I KNOW YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN). I've added guided meditation to the end of it (I just can't do mindfulness, it's so BORING and I get intrusive thoughts) and that's also helped, but I think most of the benefit comes from the physical activity.
I've loved the friendly rivalry between you guys- John with his food tracking/praying mantis jumps/major progress and Chris with his endurance/flexible hamstrings/golf skills.
Watching John do those risers after watching the Vlogbrothers video many years ago where he had to stand on a table... what a major accomplishment! Congrats to you both. Such a transformation!
Seeing the progress you have both made in this 100 days has just been amazing! You guys should be so proud of yourselves! Thank you for taking us on this journey with you& remember, you'll always be f**king majestic (:
you did it! you did it! you did it! Yay yay yay! congrats to John and Chris! don't forget to keep feeling f***ing majestic! omg John you cuss! you are an awesome human being! Chris you are awesome too and with all those rounds of golf are you going to be playing any tournaments anytime soon!? congrats again. instead of saying "I'm proud of you" my mom always says "I'm proud FOR you" because this does not take credit for the person's accomplishment. instead it gives that person permission to take ownership of their own accomplishment. So, I am proud for you! yay!
Gonna miss the uploads, the motivation and especially chris!😪 please make chris show up on the vlog brothers channel every once in a while😜 and last, I am so so proud of you! Thank you for letting us be a part of this journey😊
Oh man. It's over. That makes me so sad. The whole progression from the start to the race was just so inspiring to see. Good job John and Chris, good job.
Awesome job on your 10k times! John, even though it was your first race, you beat the pants off my first 10k time (1:20)! Happy to say now that I could beat one of my favorite authors in a race, since I just achieved a PR of 58 minutes in 10k. 😆 I'm also doing the Indy Mini in May!
I'm training for my 2nd triathlon coming up May 6th. You and the cast of Hamilton have been my inspiration during very long brick trainings (today was 11 miles long between biking and running). So f*cking magestic.
You guys are awesome! I'm so glad you did this. I hope this channel continues but with a different set of people each time. Its helpful to see how much you guys struggled from the beginning and how you improved! Usually you only ever see people who are already fit so the journey seems so much harder and unobtainable.
Congratulations it has been great watching you have a healthy mid life crisis! I have ran a half marathon during this 100 days and you guys kept me motivated to keep up my training
CONGRATULATIONS!!! This has been wonderfully inspirational to watch (and has gone along with my own significant increase in physical activity and health). You've done some incredible work!!
Love the Fuckin Majestic shirts. So much that I have one!!! Congratulations on finishing your 100 days. I'm gonna miss all that this channel had to offer.
i'm so proud of you guys. while i haven't been participating directly alongside you, this has seriously motivated me to actually start working out and trying different things to figure out what i like. so thanks for that.
It was amazing joining you guys in 100 days! Congrats on your progress and your incredible effort , you gave me so much courage and motivation to keep on working out and keep eating healthy. After 4 months, 17 kilos and a lot of sweat I too am confident that I will see you on day 101.
I have my half marathon (21 km/13 miles) on April 23. In the winter it is often hard to go out and do your run, but this show kept me motivated. So I hope that I will beat my own record. Of course I will run in the F* Majestic Shirt :D
I'm running my first full marathon in eight weeks, and ran a 10k Tuesday for funsies. Didn't get my best ever time (I ran 58:58, my best is 56:02) but I had a ton of fun with it. I really enjoyed 100 days...the mindfulness got me practicing it more especially with my oldest kiddo who has juvenile arthritis.
Congratulations! I gotta admit. I fell off the training since the beginning of this. But getting it back!
Super proud of you. F**cking Majestic! (Though I prefer that Wheezy shirt)
Hey look everyone! Craig just volunteered to do the next series on 100 Days!
Craig! We love and miss you. Thanks for being a part of this.
Craig did a marathon. I think he is far a head of John and Chris. lol

WheezyWaiter hey wheezy just to let you know that it is because of you that I started running a year and a half ago and now I have completed half marathon runs, thank you!
Thanks to everyone that supported the guys an viewed the show!! It was an awesome experience and I'm even more sad it is over!! 😥

gameXylinder yes that was definitely a nice touch and a pleasant surprise. 😄
it was also a good reminder that exercise can be a great way to get to know people build local community
I literally teared up when they talked about that haha
Y'all need to change this to 200 days! There's always more 10k's that need people wearing "F*cking Majestic" shirts!
I need a f*cking majestic shirt right now!
Sandra de Vries I think they're selling them at dftba.com
Dang you 100days, I literally just went there to get the url to share and come back and BAM, you got here first!! :D
The next 100 days should be Hank and Micheal Aranda!!
Random Pianist I'm in favour, except Michael is constantly healthy
matthew walker hank and Katherine then, although I don't know how fit she is and I feel like two married people with a new born wouldn't have the time for this
Random Pianist ++++
I think the food tracking for Michael would be a real struggle. "...and here's another picture of a pizza"

I never thought I'd even like this show, and I ended up shocking myself with how good it was, the production quality was actually quite amazing, the way the narrative was laid out was great, and I seriously love those metric graphs, showing how much they progressed since the beginning. And something must be said about how enjoyable it is to watch John Green suffer.
Heres to a season 2 with two new people, with occational check ins from the season 1 participants.
Well, I've started walking every day for the last couple weeks. That's something.
100 days motivated me to change my relationship with food and diet like I never could - and I am saying this 10 kilos lighter, while preparing myself a healthy dinner and packing my gym bag.

To answer your prompt about races, I volunteer for them, I don't run. I'm handing out water for a run this Saturday. Standing and cheering for actual runners is my favorite part of running. ^_^
I've loved 100 days. Thank you Chris & John and all the people who made this series happen
Watching this made me realize that maybe Chris plays the "jerk" character for fun but he seems to be a really good friend to John. Congratulations you both!
Dear John and Chris,
I have no pictures yet, but because of 100 days I found out aerial yoga exists, and it's exactly my cup of tea.
So damn proud of you, gents! KEEP IT UP!! And can we finally go for a run together??
this is very specific, but at the beggining of 100 days i could barely reach my knees in yoga, now i can reach my ankles. so, yeah, progress :)
lorenabpv yaaaas gurl congratulations
You're killing it, congrats!
did you follow all the workout routines they provided? would love to follow it!
nah, i just follow yoga with adriene (check her out!)
oh cool! I just started with her a week ago! So I'm glad to know that progress will be made!! :)
Congratulations to both of you for seeing through the 100 days! Those "F>>KING MAJESTIC" shirts are great!
Nice run, I would be very interested to know what activities you guys plan to continue pursuing beyond 100 days.
Speaking of races, I'm running Dances with Dirt on May 13 in Brown County State Park (IN). You guys would love (or hate) the hills there.
debaser I've done that race several times!! It's a blast!!
Laura Minor What was your 10K time? It looked like you crushed it.
I don't want it to be over!
I can't believe it has already been 100 days! I have enjoyed these videos a lot, and they have inspired me. Thank you.
I've only just recently started working out due to the fact that I have chronic illness + major depression disorder. Watching all of these videos has continued to motivate me to become a better person. So thank you
Meghan Morin-Eckerman I'm glad they've helped motivate you
Congratulations, John & Chris. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
"I'll see you on day 101" That instantly made it a 1000 times better, thanks!
Congratulations John and Chris!
I am running in the AJC Peachtree 10 k on July 4th a tradition I want to do as long as I can
This can't end! Pls pls keep this channel going as long as possible. New people, new challenges, just another 100days, anything!!!
Here's hoping the channel lives on
I was so happy to hear there will be more videos. I'm sad it's over!! You guys have done such a good job with this series. THANK YOU!
Congrats guys. I'm gonna miss these videos once it's all done. I can't believe this project is nearly completely over. I'm so proud of what you two have accomplished
This has been such an amazing TH-cam series. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Got a PB in a 10K run on Sunday and I felt f**cking majestic!
Loved these videos as encouragement to train along with you both :)
I loved all of this and will truly miss the journey of 100 days - please consider another goal-oriented project
They have graphs!!!! I'm proud of you guys (for the graphs and for making it to 100 days!)
Is it possible to by those majestic t-shirts? I want one.
I think they're selling them at dftba.com
Now, If I go more than a couple days without running, I start to feel lost.
that's it! I'm gonna do my own 100days
This has been one of the most important reasons why I got back into running. I have a 10k coming up on the 15th of May. (I couldn't quite get there in 100 days, I started at not being able to run 1 km on January 1st)
Congrats on making it. I'm going to miss the (very relatable) commentary! 😁
Good luck, Pia! Keep up the hard work!
Chris and John are friendship goals!
Congratulations John and Chris!!!! F>>KING MAJESTIC
I've loved the friendly rivalry between you guys- John with his food tracking/praying mantis jumps/major progress and Chris with his endurance/flexible hamstrings/golf skills.
literally teared up a bit at the race when everybody joined you from the past 100 days. i'm gonna miss your vids.
I didn't do this along but I watched and cheered every time. To see you accomplish your goals and to see your F
you did it! you did it! So, I am proud for you! yay!
YES!!!! the boxing punishment will be a video. this is honestly the kind of content that makes me stay active on youtube
I'm also doing the Indy Mini in May!
I don't want this to end 😩 this series has been such a motivation for me ..
i'm so proud of you guys. while i haven't been participating directly alongside you, this has seriously motivated me to actually start working out and trying different things to figure out what i like. so thanks for that.
Congratulations John and Chris!!!!
I remember when John had problems just standing on a table higher than those risers, never mind jumping up and sticking the landing.
It was amazing joining you guys in 100 days! Congrats on your progress and your incredible effort , you gave me so much courage and motivation to keep on working out and keep eating healthy. After 4 months, 17 kilos and a lot of sweat I too am confident that I will see you on day 101.
I'm going to miss this series. Congrats to John and Chris - you've inspired me and I'm sure many others with personal fitness :)
