Please do a follow up on these issues. I had a JD rider last year that had the same issue with the blades, guy said he was cutting grass next to a gravel road and he could hear stones and sand hitting the blades, Can't make this crap up. Thanks for a great video.
Just did a John Deere 1200A Bunker Rake. Those transmissions are junk.. I see blades like those daily . Between my Parks & Recreation department and my Beach services department, I never run out of blade swaps
I believe I have the same gator transaxle without any plugs in the housing. Any clue where you put fluid in? The only thing I see is maybe down the small vent tube.
I have and the owner said just sharpen them up. NO SIR I said I’m not going to be responsible for when that tip comes flying off and breakers a window or hurts or kills an animal or human. Fortunately he agreed

Do they not inspect there equipment at all?
Best to open it and order new one
I would venture to say, cheaper to replace. At least labor wise. Took some blades similar to those off of a Toro commercial a few months back.

JD parts are super pricey? Can't imagine what that trans cost? Good luck.
@THEMOWERMEDIC1 Finally what was the problem with your gator because mine did the same thing and I wonder if it's worth fixing it
I'm trying to restore one of these and it's missing the throttle cable. Can you make a video of how and where it attached to
🤔 Is the soil so sandy there, that it is eroding the blades that fast ? 😳
Holly crap those blades are scary!!!
Blades too low!!!!!😵💫
Is it sandy there? Try low lift blades, they wont lift dirt and debris as nad
*Bad
Never seen blades that far gone.

I got a gator that want go in foward
Wow, blades looked horrible and the amount of grass underneath the deck.
It looks like they were running over rocks with those blades
Oh. Gator Trans Failed.....
I thought this vid was about Dylan Mulvaney not passing a test at the University of Florida.........
Mowing gravel roads?
Baseball fields
Apparently not the field.
Mowers cut grass, they are not bush hogs. Rocks, exposed roots and branches will do that to blades.
This is from scalping
Sandy soil for sure killed them blades…
Must be chopping rocks with blades like that , can’t be cutting grass!!
